wow ok that was a struggle to get through! im not sure what the intention was (and havent read the source material) but if they had packaged it as Jade being on the spectrum or something like that, then Mai's love and 'acceptance' (for lack of a better word) of him would be quite sweet (he says a few times that he likes him the way he is). the over-the-top slapstick 'comedy' in the first few episodes was nearly enough to turn me away, but i find it hard to drop a series (no matter how bad it is!) so i kept going. The last couple of episodes were actually quite enjoyable, and Mai's love for Jade was really beautiful to watch. The sudden change of pace NC scenes were a bit weird, (coming from someone who watches some series exclusively for the NCs 😝 lol) but wtf Tutor is freakin gorgeous! 🥵 half way through i was watching the way he loving looks at Yim and thinking man he'd give good NC... i wasnt disappointed (it just felt a little random 😂)
the way I clicked the link so fast when i saw War's ig story!! i watched the whole thing holding my breath as I still have Partner in Crime trust issues 😭💔 so freakin excited its going to be a series!! cannot wait 💙

i couldnt stop smiling through every episode! they were just too cute! i have the same empty feeling after finishing bls such as Stay With Me, MLC, MBM, ITSAY, Minato's... where a little piece of my heart stays with them and it pains me to move on but im always searching for the next one 🙈

Im thinking it was rushed (they're still filming arent they? or at least only just wrapped!) i was shocked when the release date was announced. completely agree! I was screaming "say something! do something!" in his multiple, way-too-long, 'emotionless staring' scenes! Even when looking at Jeng his eyes/face told me nothing. And wtf was the final half of the last ep?!? I was so confused and thought because i was half falling asleep that i'd missed something, i had to go back and endure it again 🙈 I guess it was supposed to show across a time span, but it was just awkwardly done and felt utterly pointless.
