I just finished it as well and also loved it. It’s been a while for me to be this into in any drama. To cannot wait to watch it again and to feel empty after finishing.

Honestly I felt that she was unfair to him regarding her brothers death. I mean come on, he played a big part in killing his parents and making him suffer a lot and god knows what more he has done. I understand it’s saddening, but still.. I also feel that she was too much and unreasonable..

Well yeah, they could have made him live and try to find the cure for the virus and then maybe going to jail to pay off his sins and Li Xiang waiting for him to come back.

Cause she didn’t want him or anyone pursuing to find a cure to the virus. Cause there would be no reason for her to exist and she wants to be in power.

Well, maybe her kindness and talent is what attracts him or perhaps there is a hidden interaction which she doesn’t recall.

I think the emperor sees clearly that NR is not suitable to be the crown prince, but for some reason is set on making him the one. I think it’s about the death of the empress but still I think there is more to it. I mean it’s also irrational to think that a 9 year old could lead the empress to assassins. But I noticed he wasn’t in favour to him from the beginning, even before the death of empress, I refer to the hunting scene at the beginning. He praised CGH but scolded NH even though they caught the same amount of bunnies. So at the end probably NG uncle is at fault for everything that happened. He wanted to remove everyone from

I agree. He is too blinded, he is not being rational.
At this point he is not even second guessing anything when it comes to Nan Heng. It’s like as long as he gets the confirmation NH did something bad that is all he needs to just execute him. And also he is always few steps behind from Nan Heng’s thinking. To be honest when everyone’s hating on NH I actually admire him for his ability, quick thinking. I feel bad for him, what he had to go through, he had nobody to turn to and he achieved all of this. Looking at him, he is the only one capable of ruling the empire. I really don’t get the emperors blind spoiling of 18th prince, he is a fool. How could he lead the country.

I loved it so much. Love the ML acting, he suits roles like this.

I know, I get it. But I feel like both if not all three of them are just victims of the mistakes of the older generation. He Joo is the most innocent of all. A victim of circumstances. I don’t think the revenge on fake Sa Eon has any meaning because at the time of the event he was also a child and even if he tried helping him he could have been killed as well, so there really wasn’t much he could do. Obviously he is mental so he is not going to feel that way. Though I feel things could have been very different if the parents of real Sa Eon tried to actually treat his son with the help of specialist instead of trying to cover up everything. But oh well the presidential thing is more important . Ugh…Sigh
