Kind of and kind of not because in novel lalit die while helping vier escape from kelvin not like the way in series(which genuinely look stupid) and also the first kidnapping led to not just beating but a massive assault happened with vier and kelvin made the strategy to not protect vier so that he could send his brother to jail also,there was no w group involved

At this point i just wish two thing kelvin doesn’t go more darker than making vier family empire go bankrupt and lalit doesn’t die or if this happen it better be a sad ending

The acting is good but the story dammit like i understand a story is fictional but the story moves in a certain way connected to real life scenarios forget that it has cause effect relation right but this doesn’t

I believe its just you can't protect someone from death but just making slight change doesn't impact much

for each ep from yesterday and now ep 25 i feel pls this should not be the ending cause chinese drama are famous for sad ending and i don't want this to have a sad ending

Im really someone who love decoding how a series is better or how people are so much invested in and this is it.....

Ok so im writing this comment cause a lot of people criticising it that its not good first of all keeping everything aside getting a series like this which is not a short series of each episode 5 min i salute everyone who made it in one of the most restricted countries and for shen wen len and gao tu want a happy ending then go and read the novel cause i dont think there is going to be any special episode or s2 (it would be hard but no other way) and for god sake understand who are main couple in this series

The moment i read the synopsis i was like have i read it correct cause english is my second language but then i read it again and i was like OMG but i still believe in Taiwanese series they just come up with most controversial topics and still make a story with good storyline not like other which have a god plot but end up being a mess

I don't know but its my opinion i really liked lu feng and he deserved what he got for what he did to xiao chen but i still need a happy ending for both
