I think if her suicide is seen by mom and only song yan can save her then probably mom will understand what she has done.

I get the feeling we will soon see song yan mom and her new son soon. And probably she wont recognize him. Also how can a woman literally abandon her son i mean husband is understandable but someone whos her own flesh.....
