Now i think this is what happened. The nurse did malpractice to the detective's friend and this guy is killing everyone who knew about that incident to protect the nurse cause hes into mature woman. But cause of this that friend doctor or seo young min is in danger.

Hes got the main role so i knew it.

Anyway, stilll. It makes no sense to take care of someone 4 yrs younger as a daughter. Most he could do is sister. But i guess its due to Korean adoption laws so he probably made her as his daughter and plus their age in drama might have 10 yrs age gap.

But yeah when she got pregnant she should have taken care of the baby and after the baby died she leaves her husband and disappeared. Better to leave such person cause she was even asking for divorce but she realized and came back.

Well in the latest o watched all the guys are professors and their past is shown in flashback how they were interns and all. So its easy to get the plot but if you like character development starting from first season is better.
