Im gonna give it 9.5 from first episode cause i really loved it especially since paramedics, cops and firefighters are together. But im sad its only 12 episodes. Also i hope to see some romance between that cop and paramedic.

He didn't abandon her, he actually did the right thing cause he was in depression and hating himself. If she said with him waiting for him to become normal she could have been in a painful and stressful relationship.
