you can't take this drama serious tho. too many inconsitencies
Like I said to someone else. The writer wasn't prepared for the rest of the season. They used t his bad guy image as a plot device but later it didn't make sense at all.
What's in the box? I bet it's a picture of him.π€£ Tbf he said he can buy that many times, so it's probably a jewellery, but the picture would be funnier.

Didn't they finish that story in Seoul? I don't remember what the problem was between them tho. So I think he's moved on from that. This is why I don't like watching dramas weekly because I always forget things.π
For me that last part isn't a problem, because he didn't live there. Him being a CEO is a bigger problem in this small town, because literally no one knows that about him except his friends and nephew. Now, that's ridiculous, but I can forgive these things for a comedy if it's fun, and this is fun so far.
He called his sister a doberman and said the same thing like they did about him on MPD. He was called a doberman because when they bite you they won't let you go.

I mean, when the ML is jumping from a wind turbine and flying in air etc, you can't expect anything else but crazy things.π€£ I think the story is properly written for a pure comedy. This is basically like Boyoung's "Strong Girl" drama without the crime.
Did anyone notice Ahn Bo Hyun's "Military Prosecutor Doberman" easter egg? That was funny. π I'm pretty sure there was another reference to a different show, but I'm not sure.
What the hell is this writing? Is this some fantasy? So many stupid things have happened already and it's only…
Okay, I'm done with this after 3 episodes. This is batshit crazy and makes no sense. This isn't a fantasy or a romcom, I expect realism, and there's none.
Don't judge things based on teasers. That's why I usually don't watch the teaser for the next episode.I'm almost…
I'm sure he's going to be angry at him, but I can't see him being angry for long, let alone siding with his so called mother. That would make no sense based on his character.
lol there is quite a few plot holes, the fact that hes incredibly nice and caring to people, and helps out all…
Exactly. I think they wanted to use this as a plot device, and then forgot it doesn't make sense later on.π To be fair, if this is the only problem I'm okay.
First of all: IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THE PLOT, USE THE SPOILER FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! So many of you don't use it, and you're spoiling the story.
Anyway...
This drama is CRAZY in multiple ways, but it's really entertaining. π€£
The main story is going well so far, ML and FL are funny together, and unlike most people I don't dislike the kids either, not even the girl. They're just typical dumb kids. Nothing serious. The romance between the ML and FL is interesting and fun, but I'm not sure about this 2 year nonsense. It's obvious they can't stick to the plan, so I hope they won't drag this out too long.
As for the other main plot, it was predictable, I knew she came back for something else. But if they do something ridiculous with this plot, I'm gonna drop it faster than Speedy Gonzales.
BTW, isn't it weird that ML and his nephew have lived in this city for years but no one knows the guy is a CEO? Or is it just weird to me only?
You're overthinking this big time. FL didn't do anything bad with the SML, she was in shock, what did you expect…
Like I said, what you're saying never happened. SML never showed any sign of love towards her. He's only there for his sister and because of FL's parents.
They said they can't date, they never said they were never gonna meet for 2 years. Did you pay attention? Drinking a coffee is not a date, and she was asking him about the other guy, because the other teacher asked her to do it.
I really dislike people who start dating and immediately start thinking they can fix their partner's dysfunctional…
That's not what happened, she's not trying to fix his family.π She didn't force him to do anyhting just stated her opinion. There's nothing wrong with that. Not to mention, she has a point. Doesn't matter how shit his mom is, he has the right to know the facts, and he's not a little boy anymore.
Taking your loved ones' side is just blind love, you're not helping anyone. It's just a Disney princess movie, basically, where everything gets solved by magic.
So I thought the older sister had finally remembered she had a son and a brother sheβd promised to come back…

I'm almost 100% sure the kid knows what's up, he's not stupid, he's just curious about his mom, and knows exactly what she's up to. There's no way in hell he's gonna believe that his uncle is the bad guy. He might get upset and angry, and that's 100% understandable, but that's all. If they do something like you said, I will drop this show in a heartbeat.
Actually what's the makers trying to say with involving SML in the saving moment of FL ? Like why they put the…
You're overthinking this big time. FL didn't do anything bad with the SML, she was in shock, what did you expect her to do in a situation like that? It's not like they were about to kiss or something. π€£
Him being there wasn't unnecessary, he helped to save her. Without him, she would get hurt. It's not a love triangle btw, he's only there because of her parents, that's all.
The 1st episode was way too over the top and overdramatic for no reason, not to mention the camera shaking. Some parts didn't even make sense, like how the hell a convict who just got out of prison can sit in a room full of kids in a law school? Not to mention the judge who sentenced him. This could never happen in real life. The police should've gotten him before he entered the room, because he was wearing an ankle monitor.
I'll give this 2 more episodes, but so far, it's not impressing and as usual the police feels like a bunch of 5 year olds who are roleplaying. That last scene with the shoes was nonsense.
Everyone has their own opinion but that doesn't mean this drama isn't underrated, and I'm not talking about actual…
I don't think "Doona" is something that would make you cry tbh. It's just as realistic as this one. It's also a bit more complex because the time jumps and time periods can be confusing for many if they don't pay attention.π They don't spell out which year it is, you have to find the clues. "Doona" has way more tiny details than "Surely Tomorrow". That's why many people still don't know if it was a happy, sad or open ending.
If you don't want to cry your eyes out, I don't recommend the only drama I rate 10/10, "When Life Gives You Tangerines," even though it is pretty much perfect.
