Its perfectly fine for Him to move on, accept he hasn't. He took an interest in Nail because he's Blue's doppelganger, hell he even had sex with him on Blue's birthday. The whole point of moving on is to forget and make peace with the past. Him just wants to start over with his doppelganger and make it right out of guilt.
