In terms of period / historical dramas asian and non asian, the king and non kings are almost always cheating, that's history I'm afraid. The woman got treated like shit and the men stuck their dicks in every other woman...much like nowadays
People need to understand that past relationships and parental relationships are responsible for people's trauma. Their dad felt guilty for his wife leaving him and can't move on, he's done with love. New sleeps around and gets scared when things get serious, Yotha is scared to love again after his parents divorce and what Warit did to him and Fai, Fai is scared that people won't like him and he doesn't know what love is. Warit, I'm sure had his own issues, which caused him to hurt Yotha, both Warit and Yotha have a sibling bond now. Yes Warit and Klao are toxic together BUT IT WORKS FOR THEM, each episode sheds light on each character. Not every relationship is healthy but for people like Warit and Klao..it works, whether it's lust, love or mutual understanding..they work. All of these characters are very human and very realistic. It's harsh to pass judgement because that would be hypocritical.
All of these characters are still young and figuring themselves and love out. All of them have their own pain.
also please und what TRAUMA is and what it does to someone, it's no excuse to hurt others, like Yotha hurting Gun. But with mutual understanding and comfort they can work it out together, Gun is not a child, he knows who he is and what he wants.
Let me tell you guys something, I've watched many Korean, Chinese, American and British historical/ Period dramas and the men were EVIL, CHEATING, LYING BASTARDS. Back in those days the women were treated like shit and the King's, well they had more mistresses than the average man, especially when it came to having a heir.

My point is all the sweet fluffy green flag coded King's and Princes in their dramas are just fiction, that's why for the most part (k dramas) on particularly stay true to what it was like back then

This is really turning into Love Next Door and I couldn't stand the Main couple in that. In this she's seriously treating him like shit, also talking about moving on and getting over him but when he does she acts as if he's cheating. No I'm sorry but them obviously ending up together just ruins it. She really needs to sort her shit out before she loses him for good and yes I'd say the same I'd the roles were reversed
I really like this series but is it me or does the feel of it seem depressing ? time the tone and many music is a little soppy but it's lively at the same time...you know what I mean? at the end of the day it's Rak and Kawi I feel bad for. This one woman (Pam) is going to put a huge wedge in between their relationship, sooner or later Pam will have to make a decision, no man or woman should come between friends or siblings...but I guess people aren't themselves when it comes to love.

My apologies if i sounded rude (quite defensive over this series). I understand that Samu, for me I was more focused on the trauma department I'm general, the ML had a pretty good background story and I feel like he's the main focus and at least we got to know about his tattoo and background. I do agree about Dr Park, I was curious about him but I didn't let myself overthink it and just rolled with it 😅. Regarding Yang Jae Won they probably went to school together or he met her a couple of times since he knows her father, maybe like a sibling relationship or something. I get there are people that really like to see the build up and past of a character and there are many series like that. On the brightside we got to know a lot about ML and why he's the dedicated hero that he is.
