According the novel readers the ML and Fl are toxic, especially the ML. There's r rated scenes, including a sexy shower scene, there's no 2ML and ML had a twin sister...not brother. BUT According the director the plot of the series is completely different. Not gonna lie they could have kept the sexy steamy scenes in.

I do hope FL isn't this hysterical throughout the entire series, it's too much.
