So...it was the ML that made her leave her job 6 years ago and made sure nobody would want to work with her and I thought her ex boyfriend was a jerk. People aren't always as they seem it seems.It doesn't matter if he didn't know her at the time, it's bad enough her ex boyfriend cheated on her with MLs friend. In reality no woman would EVER forgive a man who did that. We all know she'll forgive him but he caused her so much pain and isolation. Truly unforgivable
and before anybody chimes in with "but he was doing his job" or " he didn't know her at the time" or " he was doing it for his friend" I don't give a shit. What he did was disgusting and cruel, doesn't matter if he knew her personally or if she was a stranger. Treating anybody like shit or making their life hell is inexcusable now I really hate the idea of them being endgame. Nobody forced him to behave that way. If I were in her shoes he'd be dead to me. Like I'm leaving my job, I'm leaving that area like I'd never want to see him again for as long as I'd live. Both ML and 2ML are problematic.
I've got to say history is certainly repeating itself since he once again tried to fire her fr her current job. Don't get me wrong I adored the ML in the first half. It was just whimsical fun and then it got deep and depressing and the ML and ex boyfriend's betrayal. Honestly how can someone shamelessly ruin someone's life, date them and have the audacity to cry, like why ? she's the one in pain here, all because of that one jerk.
Seems like he was cheating but then again...I mean the phone conversation seemed a lot like cheating and he way he spoke about his boyfriend was a prick move. The kiss on the other hand, the mystery guy with said boyfriend 100% did that because he knew he was there...but said boyfriend didn't exactly stop the kiss. I don't know but that one guy is a cocky prick. Guess we'll have to see it from his POV to see if and what the misunderstandings are/ were.
