its also very unrealistic because during that time.. it wasn't very wise to just walk away from a marriage as a woman..unless you had your father or brother to support you... and even then it would ruin the image of the woman.. for example Song Mo's mom was probably not happy either with the scumbag husband.. but she pulled through it... i think they're putting a positive layer to keep some feminists happy....but they need to be careful... that's a slippery slope... it starts very slow and subtle and then eventually the massaging turns into the garbage that's western movies now.

Thats retarded this is not slow burn. Depending on the story.. slow burn is when they get together last 6 episodes.
In blossom they basically got together episode 19.
In love between fairy and the devil they got together ep 21.
That works perfectly with the script because it allows the character to create a bond…which enables their romance to feel more genuine and the viewer to cheer after the perfect amount of waiting

Kill me love me was dumb…the plot had so much potential but they showed everything since the very beginning…making the show boring in future episodes.
The leads in blossom had chemistry since their first introduction and it got stronger.

Honestly i wanted to like unchained love cause i really like Dylan, but they ruined his character, his obssession for revenge dissapeared as soon as the FL lead showed up, they didnt gradually create a bond to explain why the ML became so obsessed he just started liking her out of nowhere. She was very unlikable as a FL which took away from any bonding between the leads and had 0 chemistry with dylan. I really wanted to like it but the script was no good, and dylan’s pretty face couldn’t save it for me

The way they killed her was stupid. She looked very stupid forcufully holding the guy that had her hostage

lol i love XW but his mood swings would make any girl second guess, this is why if you notice before she kisses him back on EP 36, she looks at his injured hand and gets a reminder of the sacrifices he makes for her and his love, cause his temper from 0-10 within a second would be overwhelming for anyone, at the same time you can't blame the dude. After getting fucked up physically to save her ass, she tells him she wants to go back to the country side right after ZZ shows up, so his anger is understandable there as well. I think they kind of messed up on the writing there when she said she wants to go back to her countryside, and abandon XW to his quest, hoping he comes back alive, (doesn't she love him and would want to be back next to him to make sure he's ok) this is why his anger makes sense, the writers should have come up with something else, cause that didn't make sense.

why does he care what people say? I feel bad for asian celebrities, their fans are too demanding. The fans in the west are more laid back and they're not as obsessive on dumb things

i tried to watch Lost You Forever the scenes with the FL and Blonde guy, she is so unattractive as a "guy" that it made it impossible for me to buy that all the ML fell in love with her. She's not a bad actress, just wow she was very difficult to look at when she was dressed as a guy, and did she do something to her face, it looked abnormally swollen

ye they kind of made the killing scene of Yinfang dumb, if someone is holding you as a hostage and release, you don't force hold them and expect them not to kill you. they should have just made him kill her by showing some evil last side to him, where he kills yinfang in front of husband and ninger for no longer needing use of her.

the ending in the novel is much much different. but still not as dark as people say it is, in the novel he doesn't kill the emperor but he allows the emperor's sister to make that decision because the emperor told her to kill herself when she asked for help when she was the hostage bride, so she killed the emperor. And XW gave the emperor the option of either him killing his mom or getting killed, so clearly the emperor killed his mom. But XW and ninger still ended up getting married and retired in the novel. The emperor was also darker in the novel which excuses why XW gave him that option in the end.
Lets not forget though, in the 1st episode of the drama, XW had murdered a lot of people which is emphasized on EP 31 that she has the memory of her trying to seduce him, and he has the red ink, that basically decides who lives and dies. And i don't know if people noticed, but it seemed that she was able to change everything by just taming him basically, in the drama especially

Also reminder, Dong fang Cing cang was also darker in the novel but they made him softer in the LBFD
