i'm already hooked. this is soooo much better than i expected.
i’d be totally fine if they went with the classic ending or changed it up a bit. they did the latter with another classic drama (ONE is the king of remakes lol). and while it was still sad, it was less so than the og. most fans of the og seem to really like the change, too.
at what point did tokyo know who blue is? it doesn’t seem like blue knows that their families are rivals at all.
the husband “i didn’t do anything wrong”. bet if she had a side guy, he’d be upset. he also claims to be ‘stressed’ from work but somehow has time to flirt with, date, sleep with 35 women.
her mom is shit, too.
i hope after the other girl finds out he’s cheating, she helps the wife leave him.
PS I Hate You Tathata I Am What I Am (Airing Now) - the serial killer is still a mystery but it's suggestive that…
does the killer have to be female? if male is okay, i'll have go digging bc i don't remember the titles off the top of my head. i may not get back to you in a timely manner lol. but i'll keep you in mind if i watch any new ones.
i love this. a very creative and bittersweet depiction of trauma and mental illness. great mc, story and ending. the last couple of minutes got me emotional, and i’m not a very feely type of person ok.
the story can feel disorienting at times, but i think that was done intentionally to mirror the culprit’s mental state. really well done in that regard.
if you like mystery/thrillers and are okay with gore, i highly recommend this. for those who aren’t okay with gore, there’s one episode that gets pretty gory, plus a head here and there, but honestly, it’s not as bad as it sounds. it’s a really great story, so i’d hate for the gore to make anyone miss out on this.
mint & prang both did amazing in their roles. casting did a really great job choosing them.
the end song is really beautiful, and i’m going to go find it now so i can relive the ending like the masochist that i am 😭

i finished watching tathata, and it turned out to be a really great story. it was the one ep that was gorey, and there is a head here and there. i know that sounds bad, but it’s really not lol. if you like the yarns, give it a try. the killer is also female, and their personalities are similar. the ending is really good, too.

not that i can recall atm.
you'll want to skip Tathata I Am What I Am then. it's getting gorey. Murder in the Kitchen 'might' still be okay. i'm on my second TRUE drama, and their writing isn't really great although they have great premise and start off very promising.
if you liked PS I Hate You, you might also like Hide & Sis and the others recommended for that drama. people most likely spoiled the killer in the comments.
other then that, we'll have to wait for MONO which The Yarns is from. 🙂
