Fair enough. S1 was definitely a 10, and I honestly thought s2 would have a hard time replicating its success. It hasnt but it's not so far behind. Taking a peak on the other side (guards) was a fresh take and something they can focus on in the next seasons. That cliffhanger was a bummer thoughh 🤪
Hated the cliffhanger but overall....soo good!! Wasnt expecting a lot, but was surprised at how amazing it was. 7.9 rating is a joke. Around 9-9.5 for me.
Havent gotten over this drama. Seyoung and Junho have the best chemistry and all the other actors are amazing in this. It’s so well-written and well-directed, plus cinematography is simply breathtaking ❤️ Pls dont worry about the ending..for me, it is very bittersweet, plus it is based on historical facts so you cant really question it lol.
Just finished episode 6, so far it’s just ok. Not bad, the leads r ok..lacking romantic chemistry though i do sense a friendly vibe. Story is so-so but the acting is quite good. For now, 8/10. Looking forward to the kissing scene 😜
Definitely a 10/10. Im not so much into slowburn dramas but this had me hooked. The writing was impeccable…so real, so thought-provoking. You learn to really care for these characters . Itll take a while before wee see a drama like this 👍👍
Liked the retro vibe..not really needed since the story couldve happened at any time, but it gave the film some room to be creative style-wise. It started out ok but towards the middle, it felt like the film suffered from editing problems. It felt rushed and incomplete. Cast was great though , and as usual Yoo Ah In delivers! Was pleasantly surprised to see Lee Se Young here in a cameo..looking so cute and a lil weird (which is ofcourse what I like about her). All in all i give this a 7.5 . Sidenote: not so sure if the film depicted Seoul during 1988 accurately 🤔 Gold chains, really? Haha! Someone enlighten me! Not sure how Seoul was in ‘88.
