Also I think he's well suited for this character since Wei Shao is a boy that had to grow up to fast anyway. So he's not supposed to look young, he's carrying the weight of hatred and the entire Wei clan

More like an admirer I believe. Since he's openly declaring man man's beauty. He can't exactly be a love rival to Wei Shao😂😂 unless he wants to be beheaded. Also maybe they didn't have the budget for a suitable love rival. No offence to the other actors but LYN is freaking gorgeous. The only person I think looks really good as well is on the generals, the flirty one.

Yh I believe he does. At first I thought maybe he did then when she went to have a talk with him so he can go back to grandma, I thought he just admired her. Does anyone think the romantic scenes are a bit short. Like with the bath scene after he got injured, just a short dialogue and the looks and that's it. Like why couldn't they show her helping him get dressed and then falling asleep beside each other or something. I need them to have an extended romantic scene.

I don't think her character needs any micro expressions. She looks cute which is perfect for her character, like isn't that what the title tries to tell us. Her beauty is one of the major points of her character. She's smart but not all knowing, she's still growing. That face of hers that lacks micro expression is what fools people into thinking she's some simple minded girl.
