The Duchess of Ying was a respectable lady, kind and loving. I doubt that she would have Song Mo with anyone but…
Yeah I was thinking maybe the Emperor could've have been the father. I just find the father's attitude to the son was ugly from the get go. From a very young age the father loathed the son and would beat him, but his brother, the father didn't do much to him at all. But I did forget that there is a novel, which I've not read, so it would be revealed in there. cheers
I started it not expecting much however it was actually good. But what's wrong with that ending? seriously???…
Many times I have started dramas with no expectation and have been pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable they are. Then there are some (not many) that I have been waiting to watch and find them boring and I bow out of them.
I think I must have watched way too many tragedies where the protagonists lose at every turn. This just doesn't…
Yes I'd agree with you on these three, but no where near as much angst as in this one. But I did love those three and I do like this show too, just can't handle too much of the angst. In saying that Ep 16 has become lighter so I am enjoying that and hope 17 will be lighter too, so that I can breath for a bit. Lol
I have a feeling that Song Mo's father isn't his father after all. Just a couple of things that the father said to Song Mo, nothing direct though and also the fact that the father is so wildly hateful of his 'son'. Could it be that Song Mo's father was in fact his Uncle or someone even higher up? Thoughts anyone? BTW I do like hidden identity tropes.
No, you are not slow. The fact is that this show has many villains and few heroes and lots going on. It is very easy to be confused as to who is doing what and when and why. Remembering the characters and who they are, unless you have photographic memory, is very difficult to do and it will take time to be familiar with all the characters. Most of the old men are sporting goaties and mos and all look nearly the same so its hard to see who is who and I pity those who have mild face blindness they wouldn't have a clue who is who. So don't take any person's remarks that are too slow, you are not.
Ok I'm up to date on this drama, but I have to say the writers have done a bad job with this one. I've watched a similar drama in which they never let up having the villains constantly inflicting pain and anguish through the show and it left a really bad taste in my mouth.
People don't want to be on tender hooks and gasping constantly throughout the show, they want to be able enjoy the show at some point. They don't want to feel like they've been hit with a bus over and over again. It gets boring and people leave.
I am getting to that point where I want to leave the show due to it's never ending barrage of villainous activity and the heroes get constantly pummeled into the ground. Which is a shame because I really like the cast in this show, the acting so far has been brilliant. We are up to Ep 15 of a 343 Episode Drama and still no relief.
