so far I'm a bit disappointed that I'm not liking it as much as I thought I would. The first ep just seems like it's missing something to pull my attention.

exactly, I don't think it would make sense to say jiang chen is toxic. Cheng xiaoxi might be toxic to some people but quite honestly I don't think she's that bad

I think my favorite would be the romance of tiger and rose. I loved how well she fit with ding yuxi's character. I can watch that drama like 10 times and still wouldn't get bored.

She can sing as well! She sang with Alec Benjamin and it was pretty cool

Sometimes dubbing turns me off from a drama either because the voice sounds like a lot of other characters (or just being a really generic voice) or the lips don't match up with the sound. Of course good dubbing (like from the untamed) is great.
