Can anyone tell me how the drama compares with the novel? This is one of my favorite novels, so I am kinda scared…
So far i still prefer the novel. It's unnecessarily a lot more complicated here. But tbh if we don't compare this with the novel and start watching this as a new story it's quite good. And this is like a new story as they have changed quite a lot of key points...
In the novel he was not only aloof but a total expressionless iceberg . Even after they got together the number of times he smiled can be counted with one hand.. Actually him being blind was the main highlight of that novel. Being a master chef even though he can't see really made him stand out from his competitors. And yes it heightened his sense of taste too . There were times were we actually doubt whether he was blind or not. It also explained a lot of his cold behavior. It's a pity they changed the plot here..
Idk i just find it weird how no one is acknowledging Yeonsoo's grandma.. like her friend never mentions her never…
OMG!!! Don't put any ideas in my head. I won't be able to sleep tonight🥴 But now that u mention it, this really seems possible. I think I've seen similar plot twists in other dramas....
Ikr!!! Actually there are only a few similar scenes from the og one. From their first encounter it's completely different otherwise. But i think it's not that bad too.
I think there is much more to the character in this version. He's almost in every poster of the drama and he is seen openly competing with the ML for FL. He can be considered as a love rival of ML.
