I’m really glad you mentioned postpartum depression. That was also my Initial thought given that she tried to come back many times. When she thought she saw that her daughter was loved and cared for and even had another mom, she stepped back because she was acting in the interest of her child. I would never condone child abandonment in no shape. I also think that we shouldn’t impede the process of healing. The mother is not asking for the child to forgive and forget. That’s impossible.she just wants to help her and watch her grow. I’m sure she will tell her because this is a soap overeat and that’s high drama. Even in the real world, I would hope for the mother to reveal herself. Afterwards, their relationship will take shape how they make it and we can’t judge that.
