I'm mostly theorizing here, but maybe there is a little spoiler in here:
So, it seems my first theory about the Mum of Dew's world being the murderer was wrong. Or was it? Let me recapture a little. Originally (if I'm not confusing everything too much) Dew dies on the 24th, shot in the chest by someone wearing a motorcycle helmet. That one I assumed could've been Mum ... he might have a bike in this world, too and if Mint told him anything about her suspicions, he still could've been the one on the 24th. So, now we're seeing An (?) coming to Dew's apartment, but with no helmet and Dew is already sleeping and in this position it's impossible to hit him in the chest like before. And another point ... it's not the 24th anymore (at least it doesn't seem like it). The last date we know for sure in Dew's world is the 17th (that seems to be the day Dew is waiting for Mum in vain bc of the accident). So how much time passed after that? And in which direction (timewise) are we going? Logically we would go forward in both worlds. (IMO the one goes forward ... Mum ... and one goes backwards ... Dew ... is only to have more time for Mum to figure out how to save Dew. Like Mum jumps not just into another dimension/universe, but also back in time, but only when he enters Dew's world. Otherwise I guess the flow of time for Dew himself and everyone else in his world is forward. ) So it might be the 24th again for Dew, only the circumstances had changed for some reason(s). For instance that Mint doesn't tell her brother about her suspicions, but her friend? Seems he needs a picture of Dew, so I assume they don't know each other, even if An and Dew are both Mint's friend/boyfriend. First I thought that maybe Dew's uncle hired An as a killer (and that he might not be friends with Mint in this world), but after Dew helped save Da's life and even offered his uncle to help him and not expose him if he stops gambling, his uncle called off whatever he had planned. And as long as it isn't the "someone didn't get the memo" plot, I guess there's no connection between Dew's uncle and An. Now I only have to figure out why it is so important to keep Mint alive till the 23rd (what would also lead me to the conclusion that it can't be the 24th right now and Dew was/will (almost) be killed before the original date ... for whatever reasons or change of circumstances). Is her death (if she's dies) related to Dew's death (the original one)? And if so, why just till the 23rd? Couldn't they both die on the 24th or is the reason for Dew dying null and void after the 23rd? Ok, the knot in my brain is now big enough, if anyone can help to unknot it ... I'd very much appreciate it :)
If Mum in Dew's world is the one who killed Dew because Dew hurt and betray his younger sister, then: If Mum didn't…
That seems the case even if I would call it more like "involuntarily getting Dew killed"(a man he'd never have known if not for the power that sent him there). So whoever came up with the plan to send Mum over, didn't think it through. Or maybe all of my/our theories are wrong and we'll get some plot we never expected. 😁
If Mum in Dew's world is the one who killed Dew because Dew hurt and betray his younger sister, then: If Mum didn't…
To 1: No, Dew dies on the 24 th, so the two of them are "seeing each other" for 3 weeks. But bc Mum's timeline is in reverse (it's the 7th for him), in his perspective it's the first meeting. So everyone in Dew's world had 3 weeks to figure out that there might be something going on. And Mint at least suspects it and like I said maybe told this world's Mum about it. To 2: Maybe, but in sending him they (however they are) just set the chain of events in motion (at least in my opinion). Bc without sending the other Mum, none of that would've happened. Or can Mum really save Dew? How? By killing himself in Dew's world before he kills Dew? That seems to be the only solution (still assuming Mum is the killer). But will there be enough time to figure out who the real murderer is?
If Mum in Dew's world is the one who killed Dew because Dew hurt and betray his younger sister, then: If Mum didn't…
Yeah of course Mum's the cause of Dew's death no matter how you look at it (assuming the Mum of Dew's world is the murderer). If Mum hadn't come to Dew's world , Dew wouldn't have been shot by the other Mum. But if the other Mum hadn't shot him, Mum wouldn't have come to save Dew and therefore causing Dew being shot. That's confusing enough, right? 😂 So in the end the question is, is there a chance for Mum to save Dew from himself? Or is everything that already happened bound to happen anyway? What if they find the murderer in time ... how will Mum react seeing the shooter is his alter ego from this dimension? Or Dew when he realizes that another Mum exists in his world (he doesn't seem to know that Mint has a brother or at least has never seen him) and that he's the one killing him? And how big will the Butterfly Effect be if they find a way to change what happened? Mum seems to think that it wouldn't cause any major change, but I'm not so sure about that. And what's with the Dew in Mum's world? Will they ever really meet? Ok, that wasn't just one question ... sorry 😁
But that guy in helmet shot when Mum was also sitting there on the bed. Wasn’t he shocked to find his lookalike…
He would have been shocked, so I guess he didn't see Mum ... the same way anyone else (except Dew) can't see him. And maybe the "I can't be seen by anyone in a different dimension" is some kind of self-preservation of the other universe/dimension to not create paradoxes. At least not more than necessary ... like what will happen when Dew survives instead of being shot to death? Is being shot Dew's inevitable fate for either personal or business reasons? Or was that fate only created bc Mum went there (or rather was sent there?)? Sorry for digressing a little
I might be a bit biased, bc I love everything revolving around parallel dimensions, multiverses, time travel, interdimensional travel ... I guess I just love to stress my brain with the when, where, who 😁 So for me it isn't a bad story, just one where you have to pay more attention than to your average "straightforward" drama. And on another note, I still like Ohm and Fluke together (prob bc I never watched Oh my sunshine night 😁) And ofc I try to make sense of everything and I can't shake the feeling that the murder isn't Dew's uncle, but Mum (the one of Dew's world). Maybe because Mint pours her heart out to him (I just assume they're siblings in Dew's world too) or at least hints on Dew cheating on her and he gets very angry at Dew for hurting his sister so much. One thing that I don't like and it seems I'm not the only one ... that Dew wasn't honest with Mint. He should have broken up with her ... yes that would've been hard for her too, but it's worse like this. The Dew in Mum's world at least told that Mint that she is just a friend.
