The ending is definitely a little bit underwhelming after all that build up but I still enjoyed this drama a lot and I would definitely recommend it.

is ML's gf is ?? who killed her?? how she died? need spoilers
ML's gf is Kong Yang (in red dress), she dies in the sandstorm along with the rest of his friends (Camelia, group exploring the desert) and ML is the only one that survives. FL before she lost her memories wanted to open the pass and accidentally caused the sandstorm that killed ML's girlfriend. There's more layers than this but this is the basic story.

It's more interesting if you watch it without knowing anything but spoilers below.

I felt so sad for Chang Dong and Liuxi because she knows he is hiding something but she can't ask what.

Things went from 0 to 100 in ep 6. They confirmed their feelings and started living together immediately after that. It's funny.

The miscommunication reminds me of Kieta Hatsukoi, there's no external conflict, just two people overthinking.

Title Parallel World Spoiler
FL is immortal inside the pass because she is the reincarnation of the Beast dude so if Gao Shen shoots her, she…
Missed that detail, I thought she couldn't be killed insise the pass, only in the outside but outsiders being able to kill her make more sense. CD is too level headed to act rash and try to kill her if she caused his accident, I think he would just leave her.
