Same here but sometimes a big incident like that needs to happen in order to make a drama interesting. I was a little shocked that they actually had someone die like that but then I remembered that they had the female lead's dad die in Ramyun Shop (though it was nowhere near as emotional) and Dok Mi's whole "trauma" (if you can even call it that) in Next Door. Who knows, maybe next they'll be something even bigger in the Dating Agency one.

The show itself was amazing, plain and simple. I know some people who immediately dropped it after Byung Hee died and all I could think about was (no offense to them!) how stupid they were for not continuing it! Lots of dramas kill of characters but then again, Byung Hee was something special ~ !

Yep, different tastes. That's why I love that there are so many different dramas for everyone to enjoy ^^
Um, would it be weird if I say no? I don't consider myself to like any certain drama better than others (though people who look on my completed/watching list say otherwise for some reason). I pretty much pick a drama that sounds interesting to me and watch it.
I guess I was a little wary of saguek dramas at first but then I watched Sungkyunkwan Scandal and I find them a bit more interesting now

I'm at the point where I watch K-Dramas a lot more than anything else. But I'm trying to break that habit. I've been watching many many more T-Dramas, loving it so far. And I'm watching my first J-Drama ever right now, the new version of Itazura na Kiss. I tried both T and J-Dramas before K-Dramas but I didn't like them that much. Now though, they're much better than remember or maybe it's just because I choose the right dramas to start with lol

I love those types of blogs because people are actually expressing their opinions about things. On websites like allkpop, etc., they only give straight out news which is great and all to keep me informed but I would love it if their were some articles (you know, like MDL articles)

My grandma loves watching Spanish soaps so I catch some glimpses of them. My only problem is that they're so long (120+ sometimes) and the plots seem so ridiculous (everyone's somehow related to one another, or they're all cheating on each other, etc), I wonder if they're really my type of drama. I like Asian dramas so much because they seem to get to the point right away and keep my interest with simple yet entertaining plots (most of the time anyways).
I'll have to go an check Brazilian soap though because I have heard before that they are good ^^
