Good review Lailai. I agree with you. I enjoyed the drama a lot. Although, I think there's too many NC scenes and too many couples. Yes, I didnt like how Alan 'turned' but its a plot twist.

It alluded to a happy ending. Up to your interpretation. The kind that C drama like to do.

I first know LYN for being a great singer. Then I discovered him as a great actor too. A shout out to LYN if you see this. Dont listen to the haters and get disheartened. You are a great singer and actor!

I watched this drama again for the second time after about a year plus. It is still so good! The drama has everything - romance, friendship, loyalty, plots twist, humour, politics etc. I'm glad there's not too much romance. There's so many romance dramas out there already.

It is so nice to see Ren Jia Lun in a role totally different from his usual cool, silent ML. As usual he picks to act in dramas that will leave you thinking about them for a long time after you finish watching. Read the review by Tsuyoi Hikari above and you will appreciate the drama so much more. This drama should rate better than currently.

Wow! I love your review. I am almost half way through the drama. I watched it as I love Ren Jia Lun and think of it as a normal romantic drama. But your review will make me watch the drama in a different light. I will pay more attention to all the subtle hints. Ren Jia Lun always pick dramas that are impactful. I should know better :). Flower of Evil is fantastic if you like psychological thriller. My absolutely favourite. I have watched it several times. Kim Ji Hoon played a dark character. He only appeared towards the second half of the show but he was one of the main character. I highly recommend watching it.

I first saw him in Flower of Evil. My favourite drama. He was great there too.

The king character was the highlight of the show. One of the best King characters. I love how steadfast, strong and self sacrificing the king was to protect his citizen. Well done Kim Ji Hoon! I appreciate your craftmanship in this drama.

I stopped at Ep 15 as I know where it's going. Just finished watching Forever and Ever and that makes me very happy and satisfied. That is enough for me.
