I think i watched a long time ago... but i will give my opinion abt the shows
dance of the sky empire was okay lah, didnt feel much between the leads. plus the FL was some times weak and sometimes strong, her strength was very inconsistent but overall maybe a 7/10 (which is quite good in my standards)
Dear herbal lord - not that bad... honestly i have no idea why i dropped it anymore but i did so a 6.5/10(i think i got bored- typical me) Umm i think there was more of a romantic feel in this show compared to dance of the sky empire.

I see your point, since the rest of the show should be about finding out what happened during the car accident and other stuff, I think the possibility that he might be working with the enemies is actually quite high. I am quite worried for the 2nd FL as she might really have a mental breakdown. As we can see that she is and always has been weak. she is also traumatized by the car accident. We also know that she hallucinated during her wedding when she thought everyone was laughing at her when the were just concerned. Some would say that she is just acting to be weak in front of others but I genuinely think that she might have slight autism. Okay not really, as she does not have any of the symptoms but only cause I always wondered why she was not really good at making eye contact with others.
The two FLs really have contrasting personalities, like you said the FL is really kind and mature and does not really seek revenge and thought for the 2nd leads to have a good wedding. Even thought she in some ways was trying to prove herself. I think she was only mad at the 2nd for just leaving without giving a proper explanation and was not really because she was not over the 2nd ML. I think she gotten over the 2nd ML pretty fast.
The 2nd FL did seen to start hating on the FL which is really immature and would be really troublesome as that means she would be starting to target all the 2nd ML's EXs and woman that he is close with as she gets jealous easily

I just watched up to ep 15 :)) RAW but it is really starting to get boring. Idk how they are going to stretch the show for another 25 episodes but it been nice so far. I think the rest of the 25 episodes will be of the car accident and Qin He Bo

I agree that she cannot question him at every restaurant they go to and even notice the place ,where it is close to and his phone being immediately connected, that she is really being too paranoid.
I don't really know if she was spoilt and sheltered when she was young but I do agree that she had very expected him to be with her 24/7
I watched many dramas and I can tell that ever time their having a conversation she always finds something wrong with it. It is like every time they talk to each other they give off a very odd vibe like their going to break up... however each conversation between the two end quite well to cover up the odd feeling between them.
She sort of went quite far as to ask the 2nd ML to never meet his ex with is literally impossible as she would become his wife's brother's girlfriends in the future. I consider the people around her very caring and they know that she is very fragile and so they do leave some things out so she does not get hurt so I don't really find it strange. In order not to hurt her, her own brother would not tell her about her husbands relationship with the FL. But if he did, I think she would be able to handle it.
I quite like your theory about the relationship between the 2nd ML and the ML sister. However he would be quite stupid to hurt himself while causing the accident(or he could be very smart to not become prime suspect). So if you were to ask me which teary of yours was more probable, I would say the second.

That's a long reply so I will make mine short.
His work colleague was actually lying for him, but I guess you have already known that. He knew the the 2nd ML was being questioned and decided to help him. And for him it was to not cause further misunderstandings and to make sure that his wife does not feel like a rebound or something. So he is actually quite kind. I don't think he should be lying to his wife and I believe he should just tell the truth. I know that he is doing this not to hurt her and for that I will say that he at least care for her feelings. Him having his wife already in his personal life is already a lot of work so I don't think she should try to get involved in his work life as there wont be a balance. I do know that she cares for him and wants to be as close to him as possible.
He is guilty for hiding the fact that he was with the FL as it would make him look even more guilty, and backfire for example him hiding his entire relationship with his ex from his wife caused he to break down and think(maybe hallucinate) that everybody was laughing at her. I personally felt bad for her to have to take in so much. I find that she only wants the 2nd ML to be honest with her but not too honest to start hurting her and I for that find her troublesome.

Yes I agree. I think the 2nd ML does not really love her... he seems to always try to push her away, he also called out for the FL(but idk if I should count because she was in danger).
At the second ep or around there we see that he has a flashback to a car accident, and that somewhat links to his wife's accident. I mean how can he have her memory of the car accident if he was not there himself...
No offence but I kinda find the ML's sister a little possessive and gets jealous easily. Like the time she questioned her husband if he still liked the FL(which btw totally showed her distrust towards her husband) and the time she pulled her husband away from his job because a nurse(I think? correct me if I am wrong) was discussing with him about some work stuff. She also rented a shop just to be closer to her husband...
However I wont blame her if she gets paranoid considering the fact that she had gone true many stuff especially having to watch a video of her husband and his ex(the FL) get played on the big screen during her wedding day. The level of embarrassment I think no one could have handled, so I would not call her weak.
Also there might be a slight chance the direction of force might be the other way round as he forcefully made her wear the ring at episode 7... or maybe I am overthinking
I know I have spoiled a lot of the show... so sorry if you opened this before watching at least up to episode 12.
