Just finished watching it for the second time in two weeks. It is now one of my favorites. If it wasn't for Yang Yang and his bros, I would like it more than Love O2O. Marcus Chang and Vivian Sung did a fabulous job of bringing their characters to life. The music is playing in my head still and I've found a great playlist for it on Spotify. I don't know how I missed your review, too many dramas and too little time, but thank you for this it was spot on. I'm looking forward to watching other shows that these actors have done.
I started but have yet to finish Hometown Cha cha cha, but Meet Yourself really resonated with me. I have watched it several times. Now I'll have to watch HCCC to see what people are talking about.
I found Meteor Garden at the beginning of the epidemic and got completely hooked on C-Dramas. I did a search on YouTube of Best C-Dramas and started watching the highest rated ones first. Now I'm learning Mandarin and can understand what is going often without having to read the subtitles closely. Those years of watching are really paying off. I am thankful that I found My Drama List early on.
I had to check out the date on this article because it said nothing about Love Like the Galaxy. Things have changed since 2020. Wu Lei, Dylan Wang, Wang Yi Bo, and Song Wei Long, are some of my favorite actors. I watched Love Like the Galaxy because I appreciate Zhao Lu Si and found a new favorite in Wu Lei. They both did a fabulous job bringing those characters to life. The casting was awesome, and not just for the main leads. LLTG is now in my top 3 favorites of all the C-Dramas I've seen so far. Dylan Wang in Meteor Garden got me hooked on C-Dramas a couple years ago, he was great as Daoming Si, Wang Yi Bo was terrific in Gank Your Heart (haven't seen the Untamed yet but maybe some day. Song Wei Long was really great in Find Yourself and Go Ahead. I'm looking forward to checking out the others in this article. Too many Dramas and too little time. I am now at 250 days plus learning Mandarin Chinese and watching C-Dramas for the last couple of years has really given me a boost in that endeavor.
Rom Com very accurate. I just can't watch the scary stuff. Life has enough drama anyway, but there isn't enough time for C & K Dramas. So many yet to watch.
My guess was correct, same director and screenwriters from Go Ahead. There are so many supporting cast members who were also in Go Ahead and every now and then one of the songs from GH is used in MY. Both shows are great.
I am so excited to see this on Viki now! They already have all the episodes up. I was worried that they would give them to us a few at a time. I've already seen it on Tencent, but have been trying to watch it again and couldn't find the complete version anymore.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for putting all this information together. I absolutely love his voice. I think he is my favorite singer of all time and I feel blessed to be on the planet when he is here too. His voice is hauntingly beautiful. I'm so glad he is getting the recognition he deserves. I am going to read every bit of this, but I will definitely have to pace myself.
Doe anyone remember a K-Drama with a similar trope but her Ex-Boyfriend comes to work at her company just as things are getting interesting with a co-worker who has liked her for a long time? I can't remember the name of it. Pretty sure I saw it on Viki but not positive. Unfortunately I can't remember any of the actors as I watch more C-dramas right now than I do K-dramas.
I feel sorry for those who skip ahead, they are going to miss a lot of short but meaningful encounters. I love how the ML is like a granite wall with everyone else but then gentle and kind with the FL.
The only thing I hate about this drama is that the waiting for the next episodes is going to be tough. I'm totally hooked. Love the cast! I've laughed, cried, raged... it is a roller coaster ride.
Zhou Shen really is a prince of chinese dramas' osts. His voice is beyond beautiful! And I would also add to the…
I love anything Zhou Shen does. Ashes of Love and Ten Miles of Peach Blossom both have many great songs. I also really love the OST for The Sword and the Brocade and Under the Power.
The way this is set up won't be a true reflection of how much these actors and actresses are liked. One of my favorite actors wasn't even on the list and by the time I got through the first 20 or so I'd already used up my 8. Then I saw Wallace Chung and had to change somebody out. I think it would be a better reflection if we could just vote for all the ones we like.
I've watched 16 episodes so far and I'm loving it. I enjoyed the gaming episodes and for those who like them, I suggest you go watch Falling Into Your Smile where I think they are done quite a bit better but then they are a larger portion of the show. Yang Yang is one of my favorite actors so I was really happy to see him in this. I've enjoyed Dilraba in other shows so I was expecting her stellar performance in this drama. I can't wait for the next episodes to drop.
