I didn’t know this was airing so soon! I loved the first episode personally. I am glad we are getting these 4 episodes that will hopefully set up Naughty Babe aka Yi and Diao’s story that is airing sometime this year.

Also I thought all the outfits were cute at the end!! I would love to go to that type of party where everyone is dressed up like that. I will say in every single drama ever I always skip the singing scenes bc they make me cringe. Sometimes I will read the subtitles and be like “aw cute” but I can’t listen to it. That’s what I did here and the words he was singing to Lian were so sweet!

Yeah I didn’t really think they would continue that scene, but the show is more than halfway over and they haven’t really talked about their feelings (for each other, not their trauma). Obviously they are attracted to each other physically, but they have only shared their feelings with other people when they should be sharing them with each other. But I’m glad Team met Win’s parents, because it seems like the introduction of a school friend made him realize he doesn’t want to be just a friend.

I feel like with 4 episodes left (and so many side couples to get through) that they should be having these conversations now.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that usually prefers side couples lol. There are of course exceptions, but side couples are definitely more compelling for sure! Maybe bc we don’t get the full story always, so there is going to be intrigue to learn more.

A lot of times when the series is based on a novel series, the side couple has their own book, so writers don’t include as much for that second couple in hopes of a spin-off or second season.

What I like about this series is that it’s not boring. I am very curious about what’s going on with Dennis and I think that’s interesting! I think that if the episodes were longer we could have more backstory about what he was doing during the 300 years and how he became rich and the boss etc. Of course that doesn’t affect the plot in any way at all, but it’s just something I am curious about. So really, I agree that length is irrelevant to convey a plot as long as the unnecessary stuff is cut out.

I agree. Sometimes if it’s too much filler, then it does get boring and repetitive. However, I am one of those people that enjoys the side stories and couples! Which I get not everyone does like.

I love k dramas, but Korean BLs tend to be short and I was reading other people’s comments, and they said pacing is the problem and I do agree that is an issue for this length of a show. But this series does combat that well by releasing 2 episodes at once!

I think the writing is good and it’s a cute show, but I just prefer longer series because of the nonsensical plot points (like the ex that the lead hates comes back and the other lead sees them together and it causes problems for 2 episodes type of bs).

I actually think My School President is really good! It has a basic plot, but as you said the production is good and I think it’s nice to see less dramatic stuff sometimes (even though I love it).

I felt like the episode started in the middle of an episode if that makes sense. Like I checked that I didn’t accidentally skip too far after the intro just to be sure. I was expecting some recognition of the bathroom scene, but nope. It was a cute episode regardless, but it kinda just felt like a filler episode. They really don’t communicate well. But they’re getting there!

My comment may have come off wrong, but I like the series (which based on your comment, I think you do too?). I was saying the people who are having problems with it are expecting all these things that it can’t have (nor did I expect) because of length. The difference between a movie and a series is that a movie is usually over a shortened time span and the end is typically the couple ending up together depending on the genre. In a series, there are many different dramatic parts that happen to keep the couple apart (or attempt to anyway). In this case, it’s really too short to do that as they won’t be together and then torn apart for some reason.

I am with you! I’m still very excited for their new series despite how sad the tone seems based on the trailer.

Some of y’all are expecting too much. It’s a short 15 minute per episode series where the first 2 are a recap of the previous. Obviously there is not going to be a huge plot twist and lots of drama. It’s essentially equivalent to 2.5 episodes of a normal drama when it’s all aired, which is not enough time to have real drama.

It’s funny that you say that bc I was thinking this in BounPrem’s mini series “Even Sun” when he had orange hair!

Since you said that I went back and checked last episode lol. I realized it when Wiew ran up the stairs, but I rewatched the scene with Tul and Wan and see that his room is Phayu’s and it is the same bed lol

I never would have put them together in my mind, but I’m excited to see them here bc they are both super talented as you said!

They have a show coming out in 2023, so this is like their debut as a ship lol

This was my favorite episode and we got a little bit of every couple this week! I’m still confused about the drowning thing since obviously it’s not Team’s brother, so I’m hoping for some clarity there. I can’t tell if Win was playing matchmaker for Tul and Wan or if he was looking for an exit lol. But Wiew and Team are a fun duo. It’s always nice to have family members of your significant other who genuinely like you!

In the book Yi gets in the accident otw to the airport to stop him from going to Switzerland. I’m sure this is going to be pretty different though bc in their book Kuea and Lian are already married and the ending of Cutie Pie they were already together too. So I’m not sure how close it will be to the book. Either way I’m so excited for this! Maxnat are my faves.

What’s interesting to me is that the synopsis here sounds like the book, but it doesn’t really fit with Cutie Pie the series well imo

Thankhun is literally the best character on the show

I’m sure there are people that love this, but I am just not a fan of how it’s executed. But I get it. One of my favorite shows has less than a 7 rating. Not everyone likes the same stuff. Gmmtv has some really great shows, but not all of them can be a hit.

I think expectations going in can make a difference as well. I was expecting Ohm and Nannon to have a larger role. Also, the sponsored products were way too obvious and distracting. I had to skip some parts of the few eps I did watch.

But yeah, I agree with you 100%. It’s a waste of time. Maybe watch the first and last ep bc everything else is pointless.

Okay so I am huge BounPrem trash, but WinTeam… the pool scene was sweet, but I started laughing after crying a bit. I don’t really know why bc I know it wasn’t a funny scene and both are such good actors—they are working with what they are given; I get it. I just want more progression for them.

But on another note, I could not stop looking at Dean. While he was being the voice of reason for Win, I was literally like 😍🥵🫠 nothing more attractive than a man with his shirt tucked in and a belt I swear. And him and Pharm were so cute ofc!!

Wan and Tul are literally making me so happy. I love the best friend’s bother trope, so I am obsessed with them. I hope Wan isn’t too mad when he finds out Tul knew all along who he was and kept it a secret. In the bed scene, Wan’s neck tattoo made me 🥵 O looks so sweet irl, so that surprised me. They got the best friend’s brother and only one bed trope lol.

Finally, Bee and Prince are growing on me so much! They were so cute. Even last episode I thought they were super cute, but now I’m actually excited for their relationship development.

Unfortunately no Manow and Pruek other than a wave from afar, but hopefully there will be more down the line. I really like them.

I’m excited for next week’s episode and some more WinTeam. It seems like Win may be coming to a realization that Team is worth the risk to have to one day lose. That’s a sad way to look at love. If we all thought about loss down the road, then no one would ever love anyone. Hopefully there will be more on why Win feels that way (unless I missed something?)

I promised myself I can rewatch this after my finals like a month ago, and that time has finally come. The best incentive bc the best show!
