But that love at first sight is also in the novel. Why are you so scared of it? It clearly shows Jade’s personality. And why do you say that love at first sight will ruin all character development? Can’t Thai BL include love at first sight, like many other series do? If you prefer Korean or Chinese dramas, you can go watch those
So I want to say this But to be put on Netflix I expected better. The actors are not to be blamed but it seems…
Do you know this is adapted from a novel? They really carried over more than 60% of the novel into the series. What you mentioned about showing Jade’s feelings so early that’s the same in the novel. He falls in love at first sight. Yes, Jade needs to follow Kamin around. Kamin is new and isn’t familiar with everyone, so Jade helps him get close to everyone. Kamin’s style is that he likes to work alone and doesn’t really do teamwork. Do you know what main characters means? Obviously, the story focuses more on the main characters. It’s balanced they focus on both the investigation and the relationship between the main leads. You can also see the dynamics between Jade and Jay. Also, regarding the line “do you know him,” don’t you see that Jade was acting like he recognized him somewhere? That’s why he asked it like that. This is just episode 1, so they are focusing on introducing the characters and their backgrounds. If you prefer C Bromance dramas, that’s fine, but you’re commenting under DYTD. Instead of talking about how good C Bromance dramas are here, go comment under C Bromance shows about how great those series are. Also, I want to say bromance is just a type of friendship, not a category in LGBT or BL. So it isn’t the same and shouldn’t be compared.
But this isn’t GMMTV’s fault for not putting it on YouTube. Netflix has its own rules and is very strict. Also, this is the first time GMMTV has launched a series globally on Netflix (I checked trailer from other series that also air on Netflix, and none of them were marked as globally like DYTD). That’s why people are so confused. Still, being on Netflix is a great opportunity, as it’s the number one platform for movies and series.
Interesting that it's going to be on Netflix, not seen this before for GMMTV, do their shows normally go on Netflix?…
They had, but those shows were only available in selected countries. This one is worldwide and they’re putting it up while it’s airing. I think this might be the first time (though I’m not 100% sure)
