I'm thankful we're having at least 1 ep a day. With kdramas being 2 per week, sometimes 1 or 0 per week, it's a gift having at least 1 ep per day with cdramas. Also, in this case we're gonna spend a longer time with them, instead of just 2 weeks. I'm sure the next dramas aren't gonna hold a candle to this one, it's just too good. So it's a good thing to enjoy it little by little for a while longer😁🙏. We're blessed

What I meant is the trauma. Qi Min's father died with XZ's father. As of now, he also seems to be righteous (his late father).
XZ's mother suicided, QM's mother also suicided to save him.
Although their siblings are different, their traumas are quite similar. QM maybe have been burned, but XZ had to see death everywhere he went since he pursued martial arts and military. Of course they won't have everything exactly the same, but the essence is similar.

QM could've been a good person. Could've allied with someone that went through the same loss he had (XZ, since their fathers died together). But he chose to be crazy. He doesn't care for his foster sibling (SYQ) and I'm sure he doesn't care about Changxin either. He just wants vengeance. In this regard, XZ went totally different. His friends died cause his uncle tried to kill him. He wanted to investigate his father's murder but couldn't because he's busy fighting the war.
Instead of protecting his father's country, Qi Min chose to be bad. While Xie Zheng is following his father's footsteps.

In the regards mentioned, they're much alike in traumas and past. But different in their own choices

Qi Min's backstory is definitely not a sob story. Even QQ said it, he's not a victim.
It actually shows contrast with XZ's story.
Qi Min decided to become bad, XZ decided to stay righteous. They're literally showing us that becoming evil is not because someone had a difficult childhood, but because of their choices

1st of all, the main character is Changyu.
2nd, his screen time is actually quite good here, we're seeing Changyu grow and learn things, ofc she's gonna appear more. They should've decreased QianQian and QiMin's screen time. Other than that, Xie Zheng's screen time is actually quite alright, and it's gonna increase after Changyu learns who he is and everyone gets to the camp.

Ok, looking at the trailers, by Saturday they will be together again!! As a couple!! Let's endure for just 5 days👏
