I'm currently on episode 11 and i really like this drama because of the strong and smart female lead but I'm getting…
By ep 11 this drama is already extremely good. If you don't like the butcher part, don't worry, it already ended. About his identity, very soon she'll find out, we just got started this arc
So Qi Min isn't prince Changxin's son, and not Sui Yuanqing's brother. He's the late crown prince's son (the one that died with XZ's father 16y ago), and is just acting as Changxin's eldest son?
That magistrate has to go. And his daughter. Losers.
I think the daughter can stay. She realizes how awful she was, she defends her family and seems witty (based on how she adviced her father). With a little polishing she could become the magistrate
They were literally talking about each other. She is gentle, virtuous and can obviously manage a household, lol.…
Even with that, they still said things about each other. We have to see this with their perspective. Zheng mentioned a gentle woman, knowing how to manage a household in his terms- he's noble. He's used to noble ladies. But he never fell for any of them or agreed to marry them. The terms he mentioned are just like her, she's kind but she doesn't lose her essence, she's virtuous as she actually never did anything that could sully her reputation (people just judged her cause of her parents death, profession and song yan), she's pure and protects herself very well. About household management, her profession helped her manage her house, she knows how to do accounts and the necessities they all need. You see, we can't look at this just from terms or what they generally mean, but from each character perspective. Although this is mostly my view on how Zheng and Changyu are portrayed😁
About him being scholarly, the only scholars Changyu know are Song Yan and 'Zheng'. He writes well, knows poems and taught her a lot. For her, he's very scholarly. She doesn't know his military background, she doesn't know his personality and Wu'an. Based on her perspective, everything she said matches him
I was upset that he did that because it violates the 'Unspoken Rules for Happy Ending' for a character. I hope…
Even if he gave the 200k grains, it was just for the alliance. From the beginning he never cared for the people or the army, he just wanted to be the one winning
THE Marquis Wu'an is a matrilocal husband(🤨)? And made a hand cuff for his wife (😲)? By hand(😳)?
