As for Yuning, LSY tells her EVERYTHING, his secrets are way more dangerous than hers (actually her secret is so foolish that's laughable), but she doesn't tell him anything. She doesn't tell him about her relationship with LJX, she doesn't tell him about Madam Gu's case (LSY is the one discovering her discovers). How does she expect him to do everything as she wants when she herself doesn't trust him? She thinks she's doing it for his sake, but her discoverings have only happened cause he intervened.
Actually if he was completely in the dark she'd have been long dead!
LJX's obsession with 'Meimei' is so tiresome. They were close but not as close as lovers. She told him a plausible lie but he chose to believe whatever he wanted to. At this point, nothing but his gut feeling can tell that she's Meimei

I can't wait for Madam Chen to be sent to prison, Yixiu marrying Lin Mao, Yining discovering she's Duke Ying's daughter, Chen Jiuheng's case being over, and LJX being sent to wherever it may be as long as it's far from the capital. When she finally discovers that he's not her brother, it'll be way too strange to ship them. Cause they have a sibling relationship, and out of nowhere love come? It's strange 🤡
