Ep 15 was mostly Sa Ra's and their screen time. I enjoyed the episode but I couldn't handle too much of them.…
You got me here!!! I think I was just thinking about YG, writing mature, even though he really doesn't count here....being a father with his parents dead. Now that I think more, even their children sucks.....
They do get points for that, in comparison to YS. And I actually like the uncle and cousin. And DB. I think he…
I think some part of it is SC's fault. He isn't firm enough for her to take him seriously except about DD's real mom. Even when she says she will work or takes the blame as lip service he dissuades her.
I know Yeonsil (the step mom) and her family aren't well liked here but can we stop for a moment and admire the old cunning granny, uncle and causin for their practicality and zealous? Sure they made bad decisions yrs ago and lost SC's house but at least they worked and came back with money. Even after their return, all of them started to work right away to earn money without trying to put the blame on others, in contrast of YS who just nags and whines or DB. Yes, as her introduction says, the old granny has the personality of a serpent but she has some merits as well!!

Older generation here kind of remind me of the parents in Jane Austen's novel. The same useless, self-absorbed parents with mature, competent children.
I am hoping that this plot twist is going to give YG the possibility of falling in love with DD without the 'burden'…
Yeah. I've heard he's going to think he's 22.( Of course in the preview he seemed to not even remember his own name) with that it's a possible and sweet thing to fall in love with DD, this time as a younger man. But I've read in characters' introduction that SR is going to use this amnesia for her own use.
I must say, at first I didn't mind Ms. Wang so much. She was crazy but I didn't find her to be insufferable...now,…
Exactly, she's so disgusting. Only screaming and kicking around. Now that he doesn't remember anything, she's going to have the time of her life 😬😬😬 And what can be said about Ki Ja!! I'm not on SR's side in anything but in front of her mother, I really pity her. Imagine you're 36 and instead of thinking about marriage/career/future and what to buy with your hard earned money, give it all to your mom to save ...... only to find out she's spend it all on food and clothes!!!! I can't imagine her agony now.....
Someone recently commented that mothers have too much screen time here. I absolutely agreeeeee!!! They have way too much scenes and Ms. Wang and Ki Ja specially are insufferable.
Honestly, I've never liked amnesia plot, even when it wasn't such an overused and old trope. But now that the writers have decided to go for it, I can only hope like many other plots in the drama, it would be solved quickly and won't be dragged for half the drama. I guess Ahjumma who's seen SR hugging YG but seems to not have heard their conversation and thinks they were involved and he's dumped her would have a role in her story of her alleged relationship with him.
Drama itself is worth its time with great and harmonic acting and smooth story. I specially liked the Counters' relationship. Even at first, despite Mun's youth, the other weren't cynical about him and helped him to train, like a family. One thing bothers me was that they WERE human but insisted that they shouldn't interfere in humans' business. Some normal human who can get sick, old and die catching evil spirits is rather original, but it would be better if they had somethimg more than a thick skin to help them. I won't say anything about fighting or their powers, as an avid fan of Bleach, my standard of power level of people fighting evil spirits is a bit high🤦🏻♀️
I watched this and Mystic Pop up bar by a few weeks and although they have different stories (Catching evil spirits was shown about 2 times in that) but I couldn't help comparing 2 kinds of afterlife shown in these dramas and I must admit I liked that one better. It was more interesting, creative, colourful and simply more intriguing. The Yung here seemed cold, useless and not quite eternal and even their magic staff was broken like a toothpick.
Do you think it will go this way? He will probably fall for Dandan lol
He's her uncle!! Why on the earth would he fall for Dan Dan? Considering their respective families' connection and the fact that everyone from Park family somehow ends up with one from Lee household and co, it was clear from the start they're 2nd couple. Also, I recently saw characters' description and it said so as well.
No. I meant the main ending (Mei Bao being killed by her step father) and the anime ending (Queen killing herself and the demon king). In anime we found out the basic story, abuse and revenge thing so whole idea was clear but they changed it in the final ep.
It's been so long since I've seen such a hypocrite as HJ. She's the one who ran away with her friend's husband and had his child, on top of that involved her daughter in her affair and left him without identity, but after finding out her husband paid his hospital bills, she is shameless enough to say "She lives in hell because the one she was supposed to trust most betrayed her." The nerve of her😬😬
