I am still holding out hope that Naksu getting memories before the divine powers come back could still play out as Naksu will stay in the body. Master Lee is going off what Park Jin told him but Naksu said she remembered her tree before she even before she met Jang Uk and really...she thinks her powers are getting better because she thinks she can now see other people's memories but really, they are just hers and she doesn't realize it yet. When Park Jin asked Master Lee if it made any difference (powers or memories back first) Master Lee did not answer. I will keep this last string of hope because I need Naksu to not go through all that pain for nothing lol.

not to mention he referenced the words of Mudeok..."if you find yourself in a life or death situation, let go of love and choose life" - in S1 regarding a different type of life and death situation and S2 he was willing to choose death via suicide and Mudeok would not want that...her was still listening to his Master's teachings :(

There's a lot of poetic and philosophical components in this script for sure. We see Park Jin telling the boys that they will never know if they are getting fish sauce or honey until they take a bite...even tho the rules for his little game were 2 treats had honey and 1 had fish sauce..it was assumed the last had fish sauce and it didn't..showing that the rules of the game are not always set in stone and until it is tried will you find the answer.

Also regarding the kiss - I think that Jang Uk is finally truly mourning Mudeok being gone and being around Buyeon is conflicting for him subconsciously because he still feels like he is abandoning Mudeok if he allows himself to get close to or feel anything for anyone.

He definitely cares for Buyeon and is drawn to her but also mentally does not feel ready becasue he has been holding on hope that Mudeok/Naksu will return...so him visiting the cliff above the soul shifters grave is symbolic of him coming to terms with her really being gone...going home and drinking the pain away...and allowing himself to finally let it out and cry...

Buyeon knows that Jang Uk is grieving his first wife and is empathetic to his pain and goes to check on him and comfort him...(whether his kissed her in a daze or not, I don't think it will really matter since Buyeon seems to really love Jang Uk and just wants to help ease his pain..)

From an audience perspective I mean WOW...the only thing that could get him to try to even let go of Naksu was....Nasku...their fated connection is amazing!! it's so beautiful

How come all the other ladies get different styles (other than the cute partial bun we saw ep. 3 and her long hair while in annex) like doesn't a "Lady" or person from Noble family usually have more intricate hair styles? I feel like even Mudeok as a maid S1 at least had a side braid or am I missing some cultural aspect? lol jw

i agree, her will to overcome obstacles to obtain her goals - she was never a quitter and they is being shown. from S1EP1 performing AOS to ensure her survival, to becoming a maid to get her power back and now escaping her mother, enduring pain, and pursuit of Jang Uk's love, whatever it takes she her strong will both gets her in trouble and saves her

omg....i just rewatched S1 EP2 and I'm like 98% sure that the random bloody sword we saw staked into the ground in the Season 2 trailer belongs to Seo Yul

hahahah omg i love that she went for it - this makes me think of that time in seanson one, when her and Jang Uk are in the little hut and she goes "do you think because i've lived alone out here that i am naive to the world" (something along the lines of that insinuating she is not ignorant to the ways of romance) ... lol get itttt

i want her to keep her bright personality too, but i would also really enjoy seeing an angry and unhinged Naksu coming after Jin Mu with fresh emotions and finally avenging the true cultprit behind all her chaos. There's a little poetic justice in "being killed by the beast he created" type thing lol ..and then bright and happy with Jang Uk (lol i hope!!!)

Yes, I would like to think most people (especially Adults) would jump into a body of water if a child fell in - even in a normal non-magical setting, it's almost instinct to at least go and look or try. They made zero effort, at least no effort that was captured for us to see.

she basically is one right now, she only has 3 years of memories locked up in a cell. essentially no life experience that would bring her to more of a mature state of mind. That will change as she gets to experience freedom, interact with people and starts getting her memories back
