I like the drama... but does anyone else feel that the main leads' chemistry isn't the best? I liked Hou Ming Hao better with Zhou Ye or Chen Du Ling. And Lu Yu Xiao had better chemistry with Cheng Lei. What are your thoughts?
In the novel, she fakes her death because she’s accused of treason. Su Mu Yang lets her go so she can escape.…
I actually agree as someone who has read the novel as well... Don't know why they chose that particular direction in the show. Now that you point it out I know why that part felt a bit off story telling wise... I mean... she knew he was slowly remembering her... there were lots of signs... no way she would just give up and wanna die. The situation between her and Jin An wasn't that dire.
starting from ep 30 is my favorite cz I really like enemies to lovers plot. Please suggest me some enemies to…
Here's some of my suggestions that I liked: Love of Nirvana, My Uncanny Destiny, Love & Bid Farewell (fits kind of... but a bit disturbing xD), Hard To Find... Hope this helps!
I wish there were more angsty/flirty moments between Prince Annan and Li Shuang before he remembers everything again... but I am also happy with what we got. Their chemistry in these scenes was off the charts, though!
The ending scenes with them happily riding into the sunset... them just experiencing a free life. It was so visually and emotionally pleasing. And they didn't forget a single side character! Everyone got their happy ending and/or moved on. I loved seeing Li Ting trying to grow into a good general by submitting himself to ruthless training to fill the shoes of his sister. This, plus the scenes with Ouyang Jun with all the orphans... beautifully executed. Nothing left to say! One of the most satisfying happy endings I have seen. I hate that the rating is still so low.
Girl, Jin An, the male lead, is the greenest man in the C-dramas world. He interrogates her because he doesn't…
Exactly!! He's not a red flag character at all. He's actually pretty fair. He captures the general of the enemy, tries to get what he needs by means that are justifiable by law, but still allows her to live (without having to). It makes sense from a military viewpoint, but not from a romantic one, of course. But that's fine. I actually like that they stick to their logic.

^ Listen to this! Don't judge a book by its cover... He is ruthless, but his actions are just and not cruel. He just doesn't remember her. That's his only crime.
