how did they manage to shove every cringy corny trope ever into the last 5 episodes it made me embarrassed just…
In fact the hero isn't a good guy. They didn't spent enough time to make him an antihero. At least that blunder with "I'm not me" isn't working without a change of appearance. It was easy to shove him in a fat costume or from too skinny to muscular. A whatever: change of eye color, a something. The first series was better because the actions were at least believable on paper. Here they just made her stupid while she is perfectly capable to think for herself. We love redemption stories if they are told in a credible way. Ok, she is dumb, but make it dramatic and smooth. The first episodes are all over the place, not an entry with a bang.
Not to be speculating here but you wanna work with Lee Min Ki ,OMO
Imagine that you are a new face in kEnt. It doesn't matter the gender. Some senior actors have that traction and usually their dramas get at least a small cult if not an entire followship after the drama ends. The girl is practical: if everything goes well she will get a fanbase of her own. Everyone wants to work with good professionals and Lee Min Ki strikes me as a serious one. Even more, Gwenchana is in this series as main character. I believe that Lee Yi Kyung has the same reason as she does: good people.
I read comments and some people bluffing by saying thay male leads in successful dramas always more popular than…
You know very well that awesome main female/male lead doesn't mean necessarily a successful drama. I think the actors look for successful projects. Not only once the leads were criticized for flops even though they acted their hearts out for it. See you in my 19th life was meh for me and ratings wise it was a 4.97%. With whom? Shin Hye Sun and Ahn Bo Hyun. Awesome actors, however the story wasn't an easy watch, more, the plot points that meant to keep us on the edge of our seats fell flat from the 19th floor. Encounter wans't much to talk home about it and so on.
This site has always struggled with fake reviews. Look at any drama from previous years, and there are a bunch…
Dunno, me and my friends watch MD and rate it as one of the best kdramas we watched. For a matter of facts we are located in Eastern Europe and my friends don't use this site ,( they don't speak English), I'm the only user that rarely reads reviews around here. Indeed MD could be a bit more engaging, however it is a fun watch.
“People show their true colors, when they’re hungry.” – Chef PaulIt’s a treat seeing Aokbab in a role…
That wasn't romance. She was ready to break some rules, but not the law. The romance pinpointed this. She is hungry, but not that hungry to step on bodies. It made her human and she was more than dissapointed to see his last move. I didn't think he was romance worthy, but plot worthy: to make her human. He was a step forward in her life. This isn't a korean drama. She is a woman, a powerful one. Men don't provide her, she provides them: her father's hospital bill, her brother with infos for his blog and so on.
Hunger is more about her needs, than Chef Paul's hunger.
I didn't see the poll, count me in with a vote for Queen Seon Deok, Love between Fairry and Devil, However I don't get the hype with Untamed. I've watch 21eps or so and it didn't click, while I have withrawal simptoms from Love between Fairy and Devil. This one I get it because it resembles the most famous poem in my national culture and I love Orchid's self searching. We live in a modern world with lost individualism and mostly soulless. She is a ray of sun: she seems childish however her constant soul searching makes her mature , smart and endearing. On the other hand our handsome Demiurge thinks he is the only One and Mighty but he is on the path to become as humane as possible for him. I loved that each characters respect the literary theories. That is awesome, hard to execute and rare in cinematic concept.
Please tell me it has a happy ending!!! I read some comments and I am inferring she somehow makes a sacrifice…
I think the last 3 minutes could be 5 or 6 with a better explained ending. It were the weakest minutes of the drama, however they can twist them for a second season. Definetly HE, not open or sad, even though at this moment in life I could be ok with a sad ending and would make sense. However the end was awesome, pretty well plotted to the last 3 minutes when I expected something spectacular, I just got simple.
You know this drama is based off a web comic, of the same name with the same narrative, so making it gay would…
Personally I like the crossdressing stuff. For me gay drama is the same as straight drama. They both know what they are looking for. In a crossdressing drama, there is much more to the plot than we met, we marry/sleep with each other
And we all deny the existence of post-partum depression. I'm 40 and I have 2 babies: one is 1 year old. Depression is a bitch. It is way worse when you have so much pressure at work.
Rest in peace my darling. You were awesome. I just wanted to see more awesomeness from you.
80 eps I'll never finish this - maybe in second life
Finished Tiamo Chocolate in 3 white nights.I liked the premise and ended being in love with 007 and miss Whiny. In the end Miss AnnoyMe was more gangsta than her "Boss" Their bonding was stronger and I loved that they didn't have any 3rd party lovers and their coupledoom was threatened by their own environment and obvious age gap was enhanced by the use of their costumes: hers was really teen-like while his 30+ I found the dad annoying and Zheng Jun a caricature. I FF-ed the majority of her scenes.
Hunger is more about her needs, than Chef Paul's hunger.

The dubbing voice of the girl didn't quite match with the visuals
