I understand why some people might be annoyed with the kids not telling their mom about the affair. but tbh I fully understand why. the daughter is having a good relationship with her mother at the moment and cares for her like she said she not doing this for her dad she fully lost respect for him and considers her mother the victim of the situation has she said to the other daughter. she cares for her mom and see this has a way of protecting her even if it can be a little misguided and for the son his a docter just like them his mother is still recovering from her surgery and plus the add insane stress from being a resident. he doesn’t want to cause her life to be in danger. they have both lost respect for their father and are trying to protect their mother in their own way and rationalize everything that going on. so try not being to hard on them.
