I think they mentione the cigarettes just to tell us they had been friends since school days. I dont think it matters how it happened. And changes now are so different bc here we see inhyuk and taesung are way closer than they used to be in previous timelines. They couldve shown all that but its a 16 ep and they dont have that time to show all the details.

I still think their interactions are the same. Their expressions are still the same. And the music is still played in suitable suitations. Maybe because you liked their high school days more because you like youth stories? Their adult life is def different and their life was reset. Ofc changes will happen. Otherwise itd be extra repetitive....

No i wasnt following the news that much before it aired. But i know that production was delayed for 3 years bc actors kept rejecting the role thinking it was a silly atory about a kpop fan saving her idol, and the producers only wanted KHY. If she didnt agree, the drama wouldnt have happened. It was supposed to air earlier but it was delayed bc Marry My Husband na and twinkling watermelon both had time travel concept, and no one thought itd success. They barely had any promotions. And the shows just started inviting them bc the drama had a growing insanely fandom.

He may shot the earlier shots but the production all the time was the same and they are responsible for editing and the pace of the drama. Also still same script writer. I dont think it was a major event but ig it still impacted the show somehow. I am still loving the leads' scenes which is most important part to me. I think their story is still the same as they intended it to be.

- the cigarettes could happen without imsol. Remember that she went back in time so ofc she seen him smoking and advised him not to do it. They probably friends bc in Sol's mind there is still memories of her life. She Remembers their memories at the beach. They were friends by then and she probably just wanna stay as friends bc ofc she still loves SJ.


Ep8 was present time so ofc he was standing there as a police officer. He probably was there bc he knew the criminal was free and he wanted to protect ImSol (im guessing he knew about it).


-it isnt weird that he became an officer. He admired his father despite not admitting that. He maybe wanted to become great policeman like this father.


- what i dont like is how they made Taesung as someone who atill love her for 15 years. Like for SJ, i could understand why they were waiting for each other and the truama they faced together but taesung?

But this is the writer of true beauty, she made the best 2ML that many fans still love the most.

I was heartbroken in ep13 and frustrated that she removed their memories. But as long as her remembers them later. Its alright. The drama has amazing acting and great pacing imo. Still a 9.2/10 drama for me. 0.8 less just bc i hate that psycho for ruining their love multiple times 😶


Btw The change you feel is maybe bc drama director was changed amid shooting and had to re do alot of scenes. Still so enjoyable for me
