1.The drama starting from present to flashbacks then starting a 2nd part in a different week is really a great idea. The director is brilliant. There are no weird camera angles.
2.The way they paid attention to details made this drama a masterpeice.
3. The main characters arent perfect ideal individuals. They are flawed and no one trying to change the other. You shouldnt try to change others. They should chnage themselves.
4. No memory loss or strange diseases like the usual modern cdramas.
5. The chemsitry that they have. So natural, makes you feel their love and pain. Make you really root for them to find their way into each others' arms.

Imo, he has always been insecure around LX. He always threw tantrums whenever things dont go his way. It doesnt help that LX actually doesnt express his thoughts and ideas nicely which kinda piss off insecure ppl. However if you are secure and want to learn, you just take what you get and learn from smart ppl around you.

In ep19: LiXun likes to help others without the need to be recognised or praised like Gao. He helped their senior without even telling his gf. Sometimes it's better to help others without showing off even to your close ones.
It showed his professional side even more. Gao just wants to be praised and on be on the spot light that's why he refused to join L&P that time.
Gao deliberately told him XLN liked him in front of his gf. He could've just said she liked some one else. He showed he was insecure around LX. LX without even trying managed to be on the spotlight and even took the heart of the girl he liked. I wonder if he is jealous of ZY too since she got the highest GPA in class.
Another note, WM confessing to FSM was so cute. FSM also liked LX but she moved on after knowing she had no hope since he is an asshole but only good to ZY.
As for WM and Gao, just to show the difference between the two men. Both men got their heart broken bc of LX. But WM didn't even act as irrational as Gao. Showing how sincere and caring he is. He just wanted FSM to be happy once she remembered she had someone she loved.
Also, Gao knows LX needs to be held off by someone bc he is arrogant. No wonder he provoked that idea into FZJ's mind. He is sly. Since the first day in college, I knew he wasn't really a good person but wanted to give him benefits of the doubt on why he acted the way he did in ep1 after LX was released from prison.
