Here is a big spoiler, don't read if you haven't watched it.
- the acting was 10/10. I laughed when they laughed and cried when they cried.
- the movie is well-executed and directed. The cinemagraphy is 100/10.
- when the movie started I thought it'd be a suspense movie. Haha I was just sooo into it to pause it and go check the synopsis. I only watched the trailer before.
- I thought the mother was cheating so I hated her. I disliked how she went to expose the identity of the boyfriend to the school. Didn't she say they broke up?
- I felt like she was putting pressure on him by her lie but yeah he knew how to use her too.
- I knew how chinese movies usually end so I was prepared emotionally for sad or opening ending. But when she went to his house to study and they sang together❤ I started to get emotional especially when he remixed her singing with his fav songs 😍 at that moment I wished they'd end up together but then he rejected her kiss 😔
- when they talked during her bday about moving on 😭😭😭😭😭 so realistic ... when she held his hand and wished 😭
And when she confessed and he kissed her I was giving another hope but no 😔 it was just lust and happiness that someone truly loved him 😔
- his mother was never mentioned thus I think he liked that older DJ because he needed a loving figure in his life 🤧 his father didn't really care about him obviously...
- it's so great that her mother supported her ...
- when he collapsed (probably bc of his father's hit) I was crying rivers 😢 😭 ...
- she started to study hard for the exam and thinking of him at the exam center, I was praying he didn't die 😭
- and the time jump, I wished he loved her back by then BUT would he love her just because she was there for him when he fell sick? I thought she studied hard in order not to worry him while he was sick... I realised why would he love her despite her dragging him into the mess? Would he love her for the little time they spent together to make their parents and ex gf upset? Would he be just feeling guilty he loved her only bc she took care of him while he was sick or she dropped school along with him and didn't leave his side?
- And thoughts about her, they didn't started the 'relationship' properly, if she stuck with him, wouldnt she end up like her mom? Falling out of love one-day because they didn't start it the right way. Her mom got with her dad just her parents were against him.
I had so many thoughts in the last minute. He said " if someone loved you back they'd be in your future" so is she a part of his future or not?
Such a bitter sweet end for me. But, I fell in love with both leads. I am SO glad I watched this movie.
They inspire each other .. The mind of artists work differently... imo, the attraction they had for each other was too hard to ignore. No wonder they ended up like that
Can someone tell me why the FL insist on helping her evil sister? She bullied her and insulted her for years yet she feels like she has to protect her? She was told not one time but many times to stay away from others' busniess yet she ignores all that. One of the most annoying FL ever. She doesnt feel like a main lead, more like a supporting character ... sighs
I think yes..but actually I drop find yourself because I don't like FL's character..
She finds her way back to him, i mean in FY. She made silly decisions but who doesn't ? Anyway, i watched several trailers and seems like GA is more about family and romance isnt the main side. I will start it soon. Thank you
Highly recommended ?. I watched it because i thought it was the chinese ver of DOTS but its totally different. Great story, great actors/actresses. Very heart-warming too. Love it so far.
Lmaoooo. I watched the first episode from s1 then decided to stop and just wait to binge watch the whole serieswhen s2 drops. Now s2 is here i fast forward to ep6 and see who she ends up with before i watch the series lol. I quickly clicked on x.
