The ML is actually Wu Gangs character. He is going to be the FLs mentor etc and father figure. I am not surprised at all that Lusi wanted to work with him as he is a respected senior she admire.

Well Who is he has Zhang Yi who is a popular actor in China, so I am not surprised his drama had a lot of viewers since I think he probably has quite a large following. I wouldn't really compare the two since this is an "idol drama".

I am more a Star wars fan then Star trek so can't compare xD But yeah some of the CGI feels more like it's from a kids movie.

It's a very special CGI style haha. I find the director has some quirky shots, supposedly for comedy maybe? I will see. I am almost on episode 3.

Youku seems to pick and choose what they put on Spotify. Most of the TTEOTM songs was on spotify just as soon as they were released while The Starry Love still does not have the soundtrack on spotify. So I imagine we will have to wait and see.
