Better luck with something else :) I personally found it quite funny XD But I quite liked the High Kick trilogy when they came out, so its my type of humor haha. Not every joke lands but I admit I found the first chase scene really hilarious 😂 I get why many won't do.

I like the first episodes, but its really a lot of slapstick humor so unless you find that funny I wouldn't recommend it.

I think it has more to do that he regained his previous weight. Basically everyone go on an even bigger diet for a xianxia, due to the costumes. That's the impression I've got anyway.

Finally finished this after I kept putting it at hold. Up to ep 13 I didn't find it very interesting, so I kept pausing it. But now that I started it again I binged it all. It's a nice show, and I like the camaraderie between the little group.

Officially they get together at the end of episode 8. I don't imagine they will have time to break up in the last two episodes.

This drama might not be new and revolutionary, or have the most impressive acting we've ever seen. But personally I find it a relaxing drama to watch that isn't all that complicated.

I am planning on writing a review where I am very clear about what exactly it is I am giving a higher rating. Would I have watched this if I wasn't a really big fan of He Xuanlin? Probably not. But it's similar to Goodbye my princess in the aspect of the ML being a dumpster fire of a human being and that has a good rating.

I get what you mean though, this ml is not one that should be romanticized, but I think they did a good enough job of making him a character you can love to hate.

Well I think it's a good drama despite the fact that the male lead is an awful human being. The production is much better than a lot regular 24 ep dramas imo, with a much smaller budget. Acting wise the leads did a terrific job as wel.
