My favorite xianxia is The Starry Love, but that's mostly because it doesn't take itself seriously and it's more comedy then angst.

I was going to watch daily but I ended up binging a few older series this weekend XD Yeah I found the start slow but if you think it's quite good I will continue.

I've just written an essay about the subject in school. It was a tradition that started under the Confucianism religion. At first it was allowed for widows to remarry, but they started to get encouraged to die to give honor to their late husbands family. Then during one dynasty it became against the law to remarry for widows. Quite grim.

Yeah it's quite awful 🙃 I think it's interesting to see more plots about this subject though, since I can't remember many dramas that showed it before recently.

Yeah idk why her dramas didn't air for a few times even if she had filmed quite a few. Hopefully the rest of her stuff will be able to air soon too.

It's only 4 people who have rated so you can't really say how the quality is from that. I think it's alright for a short drama, but obviously not a masterpiece.

It's a 🏴‍☠️ site so maybe that's why. You can watch it on iqiyi in some regions, and viki has also added it. Mangotv is one of the official ones, but they never hire people to sub dramas so it's just ai subs.

I only watch on wetv so idk. I don't really use bilibili. Some short dramas are uploaded on youtube.

It is regionally licensed, so depends on where you live. I've managed to access it with a vpn in Australia/usa/Canda I think.
