This is not a romance drama, the most of the romance so far has been between one of the bad guys and his girlfriend. The main leads like each other but they aren't together, or flirt or anything at all. It ends tomorrow so not sure if it will be happy end. It's a drama focused on crime and there is maybe 10 min or less romance in the whole thing.

Yeah I know, I just find it sad that they can't work together and have a proper conversation instead of just a one sided street.

I mean the whole Kang family is all about justice, so it wouldn't make sense for her character to go for a bad guy. Namsoon also states that one of the things she dreamed of was marrying a korean guy who she could protect. A villain does not fit into those parameters. I think that she could have liked him if he wasn't the bad guy. But he is also trying to kill her family etc so obviously she won't like someone who is trying to murder her mom.
