The American Good doctor is a remake of the Original Korean drama Good Doctor which was the first. This is yet another remake, there is a thai and japanese version too.

Finally started this, since so many say it's a great drama. I have gotten to episode 16 and so far it's very enjoyable.

Yeah I think it's the writers fault tbh 😅 They probably wanted some more drama with Sun Jing and upcoming stuff since the grandson is yet again not taken to the capital. I do think Li Ni actually would have made more sense if he had arranged stuff for the grandson, as they have been showing how he likes to plan etc.

My point is that Li ni should have thought ahead and helped hide the grandson since he wanted to protect him. The guards who were with the kid must already have been quite tired from being on the run for so long so they could easily have needed some help.

Even though Li ni dad didn't allow him to come back to the capital they should at least have fetched him and put him with more protection 🤦‍♀️ This is not how they should repay the crown princess.
