I only read the novel once but if I remember correctly the first 7 episodes have a younger Sang Zhi and not when she is 17, in the novel. So she will come off as quite childish.

Everyone has different preferences when it comes to humor. If it falls flat for you I guess this one is not for you. Hopefully you can find something else you like more.

First 4 episodes were interesting.

Well he has been sickly and not trying to win favor and basically flying under the radar. So his father doesn't think much of him since he has not tried to show his capabilities. 2nd prince also wants to be the next king so if his brother does not want to work with him he wants them to have little power.

I'd say no. This has less of the sisterhood in New Life Begins and more serious stuff happening I'd say. At first there is a lot of focus on the FL running a business and then it turns to war and finally politics. I imagine people recommend it since it has Bai Jing Ting.

I watched it during air so can't say the exact episode but he starts to like her quite first, while it takes her a little while longer.

Hi! So the truth is that this has a very slow buildup. For me it started getting more fun around episode 5 and then it just goes up from where.

Although I understand what you mean when you say that the FL acts like a spoiled brat, the fact that she is spoiled is about as far away from the truth as it gets. As she was left with her grandma and not so nice aunt, she has been treated badly at home ever since she was small. So rather then being spoiled I'd say she is more of a hedgehog that a lot of spikes to defend themselves, and so she is quite unruly etc but she does grow up during the drama.

This is more of a family drama with a big ensemble cast and quite a few different stories within a story. The FL wants a stable life and so when she meets one of the male leads who listens well to her so she decided to settle on him. The ML is the adopted son of the emperor and he is trying to figure out who it was that caused his whole family, except his mother, to die and is therefor still investigating this. For the ML it is love at first glance, but the FL has no interest in him.

As the story goes on they will help each other out and the further in you get in the story the clearer the revenge plan will be.

Starting my rewatch this time on the tv and wow I can see so much more details compared to watching it on the app on my tablet in February 😄

Unless they do two seasons they aren't allowed 50 episodes. So it is more likely it will be around 40 or under.
