The plot is interesting. So far, 8 episodes have been aired and it just keeps getting better. It covers most genres, which is rare, including suspense and horror. I think you'll enjoy it.

Shin Yu broke up with Na Yeon, but that girl couldn't accept it and proposed directly, which Shin Yu did not even give a proper response to. ++++ His wedding date was decided and no one even bothered to ask him (I FELT BAD FOR HIM FOR THAT). It's obvious that he doesn't want to marry her, but neither his family nor that stupid Na Yeon can take the hint.
He just seems compelled to her and can't express it for some reason, which I'm guessing is maybe because of his family or as he has repeatedly stated that one should be loyal to a person whom he has known for a long time or as you said maybe bcz of BLACK MAGIC.
I appreciate how the writers are able to pull off fantasy, rom-com, thriller, suspense, and a bit of horror so flawlessly. Not once till now has the plot become messy. In recent eps, Hong Jo and Jae Kyung seem to be sorted whereas the only character who is a mess rn is Shin Yu. That's a given since he's in his denial phase, and I love how he's aware that he's a mess. LOL. ( l adore messy characters HEHEHEHE )
I bet they never give him the ml role because he doesn't have the "korean look", knowing how South Korea is like.
idk about that but his looks are itself a standard like his features are so sharp, n given kdramas tend to go with hot mls I don't get why he doesn't get main lead roles.

When Shin Yu said, 'Why would I like you when I have someone like her?' It pissed me off so bad and I felt so sad for Hong Jo. Like What on earth, man? Take a look at her, she's both adorable and attractive. + It's clear that Shin Yu is deeply falling in love with Hong Jo, and I'm all in for it. Hong Jo is also beginning to feel something towards him. Despite that, the chemistry will be deep and beautiful for sure.
