I had the same problem with some dramas so whenever I come across a drama that gets draggy and has unnecessary misunderstandings I just read the recap of those episodes on google and continue watching when it gets resolved

Just finished watching season 2 and it's definitely ends with a cliffhanger. So if I were you I would watch with the caution that it's am open ending and there's no season 3 as of now.
Very helpful review. I like my drama with romance in them even if it's just a bit and while the summary of this drama seemed interesting I was hesitant because it didn't mention Romance but after reading your review I'm going to give it a go
