Well, I hope people are smart enough to differentiate the constructive criticism and unwarranted hate. I'm not saying this drama is everyone's cup of tea but I, for one, am glad I came across this drama.

Sorry to butt in, but why the hate for this drama? It's a superb drama.

I'm so excited for all the new dramas coming out! I'm curious, though, how long does each drama usually take to film? Seems like all these actors move from one production to another non stop! That's a lot of work! I hear Xu Kai has one more drama to film. What happens after that. Dose he get to take a long break or do you think people, whoever they're, are already planning next projects?

Thank you so much. I watched it and it was very informative. Still, it's unfortunate for people who worked hard on the project and had nothing to do with the scandals.. Entertainment business is competitive anywhere anyway but It more severe in China isn't it. I'm in the middle of re watching several of Xu Kai drama, and I feel very grateful now.

spin off/ sequel ? I wonder if any of the original characters will be included.

So, there is absolutely no hope for Zhao Ge at all? Every roles he played has been spot on so far for me. He makes me a fan of all the characters he plays as well as him as an actor. I really hate that I'm not going to be able to see this one.

Ah I see, That's a shame. No wonder later episodes felt a bit confusing and choppy.
Meanwhile, back to re watching till Snow Eagle load comes out. Thanks !

I liked Court lay for what it is. I made a comment on its thread. I don't mind ensemble cast with many story lines but sometimes I'd really love to see male lead leading the story with lots of action scenes! I'm really hoping the Snow eagle load is just that.

Ok so I survived 55.
I liked it. Mainly because of Xu Kai's character and also his families. I'm really liking his comedic side and his petulant face is priceless. reminded me a bit of Wang Lu. ww If anyone who is going watch this show for the first time, it will help to know that this is a drama for the ensemble cast not 2 main leads leading the story. As title says the focus stays on FL and many, many, MANY side characters scheming non stop ! There are lots of frustrating moments. Too long dialogue. But the very end, what Xu Kai says to the fl makes this long 55 episodes worth it. Because among all the men who fawned over the fl, I felt that he was the only one who was willing to give his heart not take, and change himself for better instead of demanding others to obey his whim. Scenes ml keeps trying for the kiss and being denied were just too cute!

P.S I'm fairly new here, and I don't know how it goes with spoilers. Could someone tell me how to highlight/hide some spoiler sentences but not the entire comment. ?

Thank you ! I just finished watching ' Court Lady". Is that considered as Harem story with the way lots of male characters admiring/falling for the main female character or is it something different? I've watched 4~5 C dramas so far and noticed in some of them where a female character is too perfect in everyway, even when she's been rescued by the powerful (handsome :)) man, she ends up taking the credit for the situation or being hailed as the righteous one. Ok I'm exaggerating a bit but is this also some type of genre or trope ?

I forgot to ask.
Could anyone kindly explain what harem and cultivation stories are?

Still in the middle of re watching for second time. I get tickled to see Bai Jue setting lots of Goddesses' hearts all aflutter everywhere he goes. Cute. Except for those who cannot take outright NO for an answer to save their lives.

I watched that one! I needed something light hearted after ALP. Took me few episodes to get used the quirkiness but after that I had so much fun watching it. Love the whole cast. Is Wang Lu charming or what!! I really wish for season2 because It kind of ended in cliff hunger.
