The various theories about why these series were combined are interesting to hear. Would you mind sharing yours?
Sure, thanks for asking. I will admit it is not the most original theory, so I hope you are not too disappointed with it. My theory has 2 parts. First, GMMTV did this to reduce the number of scenes between Nanon and Ohm because of the rumored conflict between them and/or GMMTV wanted to distance Nanon from Ohm due to Ohm’s current situation. This leads to my second part. GMMTV also used this as an opportunity to save money and to be lazy by incorporating this crossover claiming it’s because both series had the same director. I don’t think this crossover was originally planned because it was marked as a 2 episode per couple concept series. I also feel the script for this episode and the crossover section (so far) was thrown together at the last minute. If this was planned, why not do a crossover with the couples from Star in My Mind & A Boss and a Babe because they both had the same director. They actually could have used the crossover concept with multiple couples which would have made this series more interesting. Don’t get me wrong, I like many of the sections but feel this series was not necessary. Well, that’s my 2 cents. Sorry for the long rant.
