Yes omg the OSTs, they r so underrated 😫 Well who am I kidding, the drama itself is so underrated n didn't get any support🤷♀️ Had it not been for the lead actors especially Esther promoting it n their chem n acting, it wouldn't have got much attention 😭
So is mine💔n will always be coz this has nvr happened to me before. Y is it so hard to move on? Is it coz of the scenes they robbed us of?😒 Or maybe I can't find dramas similar to this😭 No other drama really interests me anymore 🥲
If you really watched all the 29 Episodes of Speed And Love starring Esther Yu Shuxin and He Yu playing the character…
Their relationship dynamic is quite convincing imo. Given their shared childhood history, it feels completely natural for the FL to rely on the ML in this way. N Zhao genuinely enjoyed doing things for her, it made him feel valued. Also Mumu didn’t want him to feel left out.
We already have plenty of FLs who share a love/hate relationship with their MLs so it was refreshing to see an FL who doesn’t hate her ML. It’s nice to have a CP that doesn’t constantly bicker for a change😅
I can't stand how people don't even bother to analyze jinzhao-jiangmu dynamics and just reduce jiangmu to being…
Exactly my point, ppl don't have a problem when the MLs act insecure or clingy but FLs like Jiang Mu get called "annoying" or "childish" Her emotions get seen as dramatic rather than revealing real depth. Honestly, Mumu feeling safe enough to be vulnerable around Jin Zhao made total sense because of their bond.
Will nvr understand the hate towards soft FLs. It’s just audience bias atp. Once a certain narrative starts, ppl just run with it. The moment she gets labelled "annoying" everyone else blindly jumps on that opinion.
I really liked their dynamic. To others, their choices might seem off but they understood each other so deeply that it made sense to them. Neither of them were perfect and that’s what made them relatable. They both grew and learned from their individual life experiences so I don't judge either of them.
I liked how she moved away from her typical cutesy character to one that was a little more mature.
Exactly u r spot on about this. She doesn’t get much credit for it. Her transition from the cute 20yr Jiang Mu to the more mature Mumu at 26 was well handled. It was subtle n gradual rather than a dramatic change, which goes with her role. Her emotional maturity evolved quietly. Sad that they cut many scenes, so we missed a lot of her char development.
I'm in my late 20's and I'm not behaving like that when I was exactly 20yo TT TT. Why FL is behaving like that???!!…
But not all young adults behave the same way😶 Some are expressive and playful with people they care about while others r not. The way Jiang Mu behaves does make sense in the context of her relationship with the ML n the plot. Cultural norms and media stereotypes often shape rigid expectations of how people in their 20s "should" act which don’t always align with real-life dynamics.
Calling her behavior "7 yo tiktokers" dismisses the emotional nuance and reduces the char's portrayal to a stereotype. Much of the criticism seems overblown n rooted in audience bias.
I really wanted to give this a 10, but the FL’s mannerisms and acting — that level of exaggerated, almost…
I dont think her so called "immaturity" is a personality trait rather it's situational. She only playful or emotionally vulnerable around Jin Zhao, the person she literally likes. In contrast she demonstrates maturity around her classmates, seniors n colleagues showing that she could be mature n serious when the situation demands it. Eith Jin Zhao however she let her guard down n expresses herself more freely which could be misread as childishness.
So it is not a character flaw imho but natural response driven by attraction n emotional intimacy. In fact feels very realistic, people often act differently around someone they like.
Unfortunately many of her scenes were cut which could make her appear 1D or gives the impression that she's consistently childish but didn't show her character's growth n complexity. Since we didn’t get enough of those moments, it’s easier to misinterpret her personality.
First time I'm seeing this clip. Not sure how it escaped me. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRQufBoy/
This is so funny lol. Patrick's character wanted to impress Mumu🤣 n Zhao got jealous. They shouldn't have cut this scene 🥲 wanted to see more jealous moments. Ugh.....Another day another disappointment over the deleted scenes😞
YES EXACTLY PEOPLE ARE JUST JEALOUS THAT THEY CAN'T BE HER
Exactly my point. They have no problem when their favs play such "cute" roles but can't tolerate when Esther gets popular from such roles. The DOUBLE STANDARDS! N they can't accept the fact that she has already proven how versatile she is🤣
YES EXACTLY PEOPLE ARE JUST JEALOUS THAT THEY CAN'T BE HER
Ik what u mean but since Esther does these cute roles max times her haters pick on her by stigmatising these chars n I'm well aware that they wouldn't do the same if it were their favs. I also love Esther playing these bubbly chars🥹 N these same ppl criticised her even in MJTY by saying that she's too serious 😑 like they just love to hate our Xinxin as they r insecure. But we'll always love Esther for her dedication, talent n personality😌
About the MDL coins. I tried watching the adds but didn't get any coins😒so uninstalled it 2 times already 😅 but thanks for reminding me will try again☺️
Her acting is always tea n she's perfect as Jiang Mu🥹🤌
Xinxin forever💝
This show is pure euphoria, even more than Euphoria(the American series)🤭
Is it coz of the scenes they robbed us of?😒

I'm so dramatic lol
Same here "this is one of my "could've"s for SAL"😢
