I really love it... there is something elegant about this drama... storytelling, musics and mai leads characters…

It’s no wonder Bai Lu said Ye Li was her most complexed role/character.

Title The First Jasmine Spoiler
For a moment I thought she is manipulative but from previews it's more clear that she is a really complex and emotionally deep character. Her strength isn’t about being outwardly tough or calculating, but about her vulnerability and the emotional weight she carries. She’s haunted by guilt over her mother’s actions, and this guilt shapes everything she does. Instead of a typical strong heroine, she seeks redemption through love and care, especially in how she helps AYao recover his legs. Her alter ego shows the inner struggle she’s going through-a way to cope with her pain and guilt. This adds so much depth to her character, making her journey one of healing, self-discovery, and learning to bring together the different parts of herself. She shows a kind of strength that comes from facing pain head-on and trying to make peace with it, which feels really real and relatable.
What I really like about ti's drama is that its heart isn’t about political intrigues or power struggles, but about her personal journey to heal herself. It’s refreshing to see a story where mental health and emotional growth are at the center, especially for both the FL and ML. We don’t get many dramas that focus so deeply on the characters’ inner struggles and healing, and that makes this one stand out for me.

Is she really doing this out of guilt? Bcz of her mother 😮‍💨 feeling bad for mo xiu yao as he is really…
I was confused too but I think she's acting from love. It's a step toward healing guilt. Kind of her self-redemption.

Nope.. We can follow but it's so well done! No drama got me hooked right from the start like this one did. I'm on ep 8 and it's still top-notch

If you haven’t watched How Dare You? yet, you’re seriously missing out! I find it one of the best C-dramas of 2026 so far. The story and acting are top-notch, and the chemistry between Wang Chu Ran and Ryan Cheng is absolutely amazing. Their performances really bring the drama to life. Definitely a must-watch!
